When you have a meaningful relationship with your doctor, you will trust them more. Therefore, you will feel more comfortable discussing different health problems and scheduling regular well-visits.

Now, how often you will schedule well-visits depends on many factors. For example, if you are over the age of 50, then you should schedule routine physical exams once yearly. On the other hand, if you are below 50 and in good general health, you can schedule health checkups every 2-3 years.
