Well, this is weird – “fishermen” in south-west Australia discovered that iPhones are as good at baiting fish as they are humans.
Leave it to the Aussies to find a new and unusual way to bait a hook. The 11-pound fish was released after it chomped down on a shiny, defunct iPhone outfitted with a hook.
Not sure we advocate chucking your old electronics into the ocean – maybe remove the battery first, please – but we’re all for recycling!
