Introduction

This is a bagged upright vacuum designed around a simple idea: keep powerful suction while making emptying and maintenance cleaner and easier. It combines a Lift-Up handheld mode for stairs and above-floor cleaning with a sealed bag system, swivel steering and LED headlights to help you tackle everyday debris in homes with hard floors and carpets.

Who it’s for: homeowners who prefer bagged vacuums for low-dust disposal, people with stairs or multi-surface needs, and anyone who values a lightweight, maneuverable machine for regular household cleaning. Quick verdict: a practical, no-fuss bagged vacuum that prioritizes clean bag disposal and usable features over flashy extras.

What’s in the Box

  • Not specified (manufacturer box contents are not listed in the provided material)

Note: The listing did not include an explicit components list. Typical inclusions for vacuums of this type might be the main cleaner unit, at least one disposable bag, a brush/nozzle and an instruction manual, but those items are not confirmed in the listing text.

Design & Build

This upright vacuum emphasizes functional design rather than premium materials. Specific construction materials are not detailed in the listing; the housing and handle are likely molded plastic as with most vacuums in this class (Not specified by the manufacturer). At 14 lbs, it sits in the lightweight category for full-size uprights, which makes it easier to carry up and down stairs and to lift into the Lift-Up handheld configuration (source: listing, checked 2025).

Ergonomics: the vacuum includes swivel steering to improve maneuverability around furniture and tight spaces, and a Lift-Up mechanism that allows the brush head and nozzle to remain on the floor while the canister/handle section detaches for handheld use. Height adjustment is available to tune brush-to-floor contact for different surfaces, which helps maintain airflow and cleaning efficiency. LED headlights on the nozzle aid visibility in low-light areas such as under furniture or along baseboards.

Weight and handling implications: at roughly 14 lbs, this model aims to strike a balance between stability and portability. It’s light enough for many users to carry between floors and for one-handed handheld use, but still substantial enough to stay grounded while using the floor nozzle.

Key Features

Lift-Up Handheld Freedom

The Lift-Up system lets you press a button to separate the handheld unit from the floor nozzle. Benefit: you get the convenience of a compact handheld vacuum for stairs, upholstery, drapes and tight corners without owning a second device. Where it helps: quick spot-cleaning on stairs, vacuuming car interiors or cleaning shelves and ceiling fans that are hard to reach with a fixed floor head.

No Touch Bag Technology

This vacuum uses a “No Touch Bag Technology” that automates the bag removal and sealing process so you don’t have to reach into a dusty cup or bag. Benefit: hands-free emptying reduces exposure to dust and allergens and cuts the mess usually associated with replacing full bags. Where it helps: homes with allergy sufferers, those who dislike dusty disposal, and anyone who prefers the convenience of sealed bag changes.

PowerFlow Bag Chamber

The PowerFlow-designed bag chamber is built to maintain strong suction even as the bag fills. Benefit: more consistent performance during a cleaning session instead of the noticeable suction drop some bag vacuums experience when the collection compartment gets full. Where it helps: when cleaning larger spaces or multiple rooms without needing to stop and replace the bag frequently.

Lightweight & Maneuverable (14 lbs + Swivel Steering)

At approximately 14 lbs with swivel steering, this vacuum is easier to push and turn around furniture compared with heavier uprights. Benefit: less strain when vacuuming large areas and quicker navigation around legs of chairs, tables and other obstacles. Where it helps: multi-room homes, houses with lots of furniture, and users who carry the vacuum between floors.

Height Adjustment & LED Headlights

Height adjustments let you optimize brush height for different floor types to preserve airflow and cleaning efficiency. LED headlights on the nozzle illuminate dust and debris in dim corners. Benefit: better contact across carpets and hard floors and improved visibility under beds and sofas. Where it helps: mixed-surface homes, rooms with uneven rugs, and dimly lit spaces.

High Grade HEPA Filtration in a Sealed System

The unit is described as having high grade HEPA filtration combined with a sealed system to capture and contain fine particles. Benefit: improved indoor air quality by trapping small dust and allergen particles that otherwise pass through lesser filters. Where it helps: homes with allergy or asthma concerns and anyone sensitive to airborne dust when vacuuming.

Where to buy

Performance & Use

Setup: The listing does not provide a detailed setup guide, so assume a standard out-of-the-box assembly: attach the handle, fit the bag, and plug in (cord type and length not specified). If you’re transitioning from a bagless vacuum, plan for the first bag change—read the manual for proper bag insertion so the PowerFlow chamber seals correctly.

Daily use: Switch between floor mode and Lift-Up handheld by pressing the release button. Use height adjustment when moving between bare floors and area rugs to keep the brush engagement appropriate. Take advantage of the LED headlights when cleaning under furniture or in dim corners to spot fine debris.

Bag replacement and maintenance: The No Touch Bag Technology is designed to let you remove and seal the full bag with a single action, minimizing contact with dust. Replace bags according to visual fill or when suction noticeably decreases despite the PowerFlow design. HEPA filters typically need inspection on a schedule; while the listing confirms HEPA filtration, it does not specify whether the filter is washable or replaceable—consult the included documentation when available.

Practical tips:

  • Keep a small supply of replacement bags on hand to avoid interruptions—bag availability is model-dependent (Not specified).
  • Check the sealed system connections occasionally (handle, nozzle, bag chamber) to ensure there are no gaps that could bypass the filtration.
  • Clean or replace the inlet brush/roller as recommended by the manufacturer; tangled hair and fibers reduce effectiveness, though the listing does not specify any brush-cleaning tools or mechanisms.
  • If suction drops and the bag is not full, inspect hoses and seals for obstructions or disconnected sections.

Maintenance considerations: Because this is a bagged model, you’ll spend less time emptying dust into the bin but more on purchasing and storing replacement bags. HEPA filtration helps with air quality but may require periodic replacement to maintain performance—the listing does not include a filter replacement interval (Not specified).

My first vacuum was a commercial bagged vacuum cleaner. It was the type that has a canvas bag for keeping the dust bag inside. It was powerful but it leaked some dust inside the canvas bag during vacuuming and I could smell the dust a little bit because it did not have a HEPA filter.

When that commercial bagged vacuum cleaner broke, I bought a bagged vacuum of another brand that comes with a HEPA filter in a store but when I found out how small the dust bag was, I returned it because it would require changing of the dust bag more often and those small bags were not cheap, either.

Since I was not able to find a bagged vacuum cleaner with acceptable capacity in any brick and mortar store, I decided to give the bagless vacuum cleaner a try. Using the bagless vacuum cleaner turned out to be a pain to me because I had to dump the dust just after using one or two times. The flying dust while emptying the dust container gave me allergic reactions. Worse still, the holes leading to the filter often clogged up so I had to clean them up from time to time with water. After about two years, the on/off switch of the vacuum malfunctioned, I decided to switch back to bagged vacuum cleaner.

After an intensive search on AMAZON for a bagged vacuum cleaner that meets my requirements of 1/ It must have a dust bag with a large capacity. 2/ The replacement bags are of reasonable price. 3/ It must have a HEPTA filter to prevent fine dust from leaking out. 4/ It must be a brand that I trust. 5/ It must have high ratings on product review, I found the Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum Lift-Up Carpet Cleaner. It is the perfect choice for me and I’m so happy that I found the vacuum cleaner of my dream.
Some good points that I like about this vacuum cleaner:
    * It has very powerful suction.
    * It is a bagged vacuum cleaner with easy no mess changing of the bag.
    * The dust bag has a very large capacity. That means I don’t have to change the bag too often. In fact it exceeds my expectation because the bag fill level indicator is still in the empty green zone after I had carried out four major vacuuming of the house with carpets in two bed rooms.
    * Unlike my previous commercial bagged vacuum which smelled a little at the start of vacuuming because it did not have a HEPA filter, the Kenmore Intuition with a HEPA filter does not smell at all.
    * The brushroll can be maneuvered to point left or right while the handle and the dust bag container are facing forwards. This makes vacuuming the floor under the table and chairs much easier.
    * The brushroll stops automatically when the handle is in upright position for using the wand for cleaning. It prevents damage to the carpet by the spinning brushroll.
    * It comes with 5 high quality dust bags in addition to the one inside the vacuum cleaner.

I highly recommend the Kenmore Intuition Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner to anybody.

I haven’t written a review on Amazon before, but I felt I needed to share how much I love this vacuum! It has great suction power but isn’t too heavy. The swivel action works really well so it’s easy to turn corners and go under furniture. The fact that you can use this vacuum on hard floors and carpets with the push of a button is so great too; you can turn off the brush roll so you don’t damage your hard floors.
For context, our house has 3 carpeted bedrooms upstairs and hard floor in the living room/halls. This vacuum makes my life so much easier. I’ve only had the vacuum for less than a week but I’m obsessed! I would absolutely recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a similar house situation and is looking for an effective vacuum. 10/10!

Seemed like a well built vacuum cleaner but the plug was a US two pin connector that I had no adapter for, never even got to try it, shame, looks good.

Best vacuum I’ve ever had. It’s lightweight, narrow enough to get in spaces other vacuums don’t fit. Even takes less closet space. It’s easy to use, moves quickly and gets up everything including the dog hair, pebbles & other debris brought in from outside, I can do stairs easily and it’s not loud like some other vacuums I’ve had. I wasn’t sure about the red but it’s a nice (not loud) color if you care about that. It’s got a great long cord, too. I’ve probably left out some of the positives, but I don’t have any negatives. Most importantly, I have flat rugs 8×10 and 9/12. I tried all of my 4 other vacuums (different brands & styles). None of them would work on these rugs and they looked flat & old. This Kenmore does a beautiful job on floors and carpet and I’m actually happy to vacuum!

I’ve only just gotten it yesterday, but I LOVE it so far. It’s not heavy, but not so lightweight that it feels cheap either. Easy to disconnect the hose for vacuuming the couch. Picked up all the dog hair and dirt stuck to my couch super easily, only a few passes and I was finished. Works great, worth the price for me. The bag is indicating that it’s full already, which it isn’t, but I don’t see this as a big deal. The suction is still amazing, so I’ll just open it to check the bag manually instead of relying on the indication light.

I love this vacuum! It maneuvers around like a breeze & makes cleaning a breeze. It has great, adjustable suction , & I love all the dirt is collected in a Heppa quality bag that is so tidy, with “no touch” release- unlike the mess of emptying & cleaning the unbagged mess of a canister- it’s a breath of fresh air! I’m SO glad to have this fairly light vacuum & tools that. came with it– plus, it’s a beautiful green- blue color to top! I highly recommend this to all who have allergies.,especially! The price poiint is great, esp. with the Amazon “no interest” 6 mo. payment plan I selected! It made it so affordable to work into my budget! Oh, it came with a bag in it plus several extra bags- the bags hold alot , & there’s an indicator light which shows the bag fullnes & when it’s ready to change. It excelled my expectations, I’m very happy with this purchase, ” zippity do da” I’m set now!

Just love it, suction is good. Cleans good even with brush roller off on my low pile carpet. Granted its double the price than my old old old one but it also vacuum so much better. Highly recommend it. Bags are on the pricy side but with vacuums performability ( thats a big word), wife is happy.

The positives. It does seem to offer good suction and is very lightweight, but durable. It is easy to assemble and has a pretty good cord length. It was moderately priced given how much many vacuums can cost. The “head” does rotate a bit so you can get along the wall pretty nicely. It has a bag system to contains all the yuck and lights that will tell you when to replace the bag. You can also visually see the brush moving so you know for sure it is engaged for carpet and you can disengage it for hardwood.

The downsides. The “head” isn’t very wide so you many speed a little more time vacuuming to cover all your surfaces. It doesn’t offer different heights for different carpet piles. The hose mechanism is pretty bad. You have to hold the vacuum in one had while using the hose and the length of the hose is very short and the attachements are pretty tiny yet not fine enough to fit in a window track. It is very ackward to use the attachments. I may need to buy something else for that function.
