Intro
The Lefant M330 Pro is a compact lidar-equipped cleaning robot that combines mapped navigation, carpet-aware suction boosts, and a hybrid vacuum-and-mop design. It’s aimed at people who want smarter, more efficient floor maintenance without juggling separate devices for dry and wet cleaning.
In practice the M330 Pro focuses on reliable coverage: lidar-based dToF scanning for mapping, PSD sensors for millimeter-level obstacle detection, and carpet detection that switches behavior depending on whether you’re mopping or vacuuming. Quick verdict: for small-to-medium homes (including pet households) that need precise navigation and a slim profile, the Lefant M330 Pro is a well-rounded choice.
What’s in the Box
- Not specified (manufacturer packaging contents not listed in the input)
Design & Build
The M330 Pro’s most obvious hardware advantage is its low profile — a 95 mm height that helps it slip under low furniture and reach areas many robots miss (source: listing, checked 2025). The body houses a lidar (dToF) unit on top for long-range scanning and mapping; PSD (Position Sensitive Device) sensors around the chassis handle close-range detection and avoidance. Materials aren’t specifically called out in the listing, but the visible components (dustbin, mop pad, bumper) follow a familiar plastic-and-rubber construction common to mid-range robots.
Ergonomically the M330 Pro is geared toward easy daily use: a visible 450 ml dustbin lets you see when it needs emptying, and a removable 200 ml refillable water tank and washable mop pad simplify wet-cleaning maintenance (source: listing, checked 2025). The machine’s slim height is a practical design choice — it improves under-furniture reach and reduces the number of blind spots during routine cycles.
Key Features
dToF Navigation & Multi-Floor Mapping
What it does: The M330 Pro uses direct Time-of-Flight (dToF) lidar to scan up to 15 meters and build maps for route planning and multi-floor support (source: listing, checked 2025).Why it matters: Lidar-based mapping gives much more consistent coverage than random-path robots. For homes with multiple rooms or irregular layouts, dToF mapping reduces repeated passes and missed areas. If you want reliable pathing and repeatable room-by-room cleaning, this is where the M330 Pro stands out.
Precision Detection & Obstacle Avoidance (PSD)
What it does: PSD sensors detect obstacles with millimeter precision and can operate in low light, helping the robot avoid furniture legs, cords, and small items. Why it matters: Small obstacles and cables are common sources of collisions, stalls, and hair tangles. PSD’s finer detection lowers the chance of bumps or snags, which is especially useful in busy living rooms or child/pet environments where small objects can be on the floor.
Slim 95mm Profile
What it does: The robot is only 95 mm tall, enabling it to clean under low-clearance furniture. Why it matters: A thin chassis translates to better coverage under sofas, cabinets, and beds. If your home has a lot of low furniture that traditional vacuums can’t reach, the slim design yields noticeable benefits.
Carpet Detection & Auto Boost
What it does: The M330 Pro detects carpets and changes behavior depending on mode — it avoids carpets in mopping mode and increases suction to maximum when vacuuming on carpets. Why it matters: This two-pronged approach prevents carpets from getting damp during mopping cycles and delivers extra suction for deeper pile cleaning during vacuuming. For mixed-floor homes the automation removes manual intervention and reduces the risk of damp carpets after a mop cycle.
Vacuuming + Mopping Combo
What it does: A 450 ml visible dustbin supports dry debris pickup, while a 200 ml refillable water tank and washable mop pad enable wet cleaning. Why it matters: Combining both functions in one device saves space and simplifies routines. The washable pad and refillable tank are economical long-term — but note that the water tank is relatively small, which makes this better suited to targeted mop jobs or regular upkeep rather than whole-house, heavy mopping (source: listing, checked 2025).
Pet-Friendly Anti-Tangle Suction Port
What it does: The suction port is upgraded to reduce hair wrap and is intended to handle pet hair better. Why it matters: If you share your home with shedding pets, hair buildup and brush-roll tangles are the biggest maintenance headaches. A design that mitigates tangles will reduce the time you spend manually cutting hair off rollers or clearing clogs.
App Control & Voice Assistant Integration
What it does: The Lefant app allows scheduling, no-go zones, cleaning-mode selection (Quiet/Standard/Max), and connects via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. The robot works with Google Assistant and Alexa for voice commands and supports iWatch (watch not included). Why it matters: Remote scheduling and zone control let you tailor routines to different days or rooms. Voice integration simplifies on-the-fly commands — handy when you’re already occupied with other tasks.
Customer Support & Warranty
What it does: Lefant offers 24/7 professional support (Monday to Friday) and a one-year warranty through Amazon contact channels. Why it matters: Accessible support and a warranty provide a safety net if you encounter issues during the first year of ownership.
Performance & Use
Setup
- Start by placing the charging dock against a wall with clear space around it per the app instructions (app required for mapping features).
- Connect to 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi — the listing references 2.4 GHz connectivity, so ensure your phone is on that band when pairing.
- Initiate a full mapping run on the main floor to allow the robot to create its initial map. Add no-go zones or room names through the app if you want room-specific scheduling.
Daily use tips
- Empty the visible 450 ml dustbin after a few heavy sessions or when the fill level reaches the indicator (source: listing, checked 2025).
- For mopping, top up the 200 ml water tank and attach the washable pad. Remember to empty the tank after mopping to avoid leaks or floor stains (manufacturer’s note: empty the water tank after mopping to prevent leaks and floor stains).
- Use the carpet detection feature to create separate vacuuming and mopping plans — put the robot in vacuuming mode for deeper carpet cleaning so it will auto-boost suction.
Maintenance
- Wash and air-dry the mop pad regularly to avoid odors and staining.
- Check and clear the suction inlet and side brushes (if present) for hair buildup; the anti-tangle port reduces but may not eliminate tangles entirely.
- Replace filters and wear parts per usual robotic vacuum maintenance schedules — specific replacement intervals were not provided in the listing.
Real-world performance expectations
- Mapping accuracy and obstacle avoidance are likely to be strong in homes with clear pathways and moderate clutter thanks to dToF lidar and PSD sensors. Expect fewer missed spots compared with non-mapping models.
- The 200 ml water tank is workable for surface mopping and light maintenance but will require refills in larger homes or longer mop cycles.
- The visible dustbin is convenient for quick checks but doesn’t replace the convenience of a self-empty station — the M330 Pro does not list an auto-empty base in the provided information.
Pros vs Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Lidar dToF mapping reduces repeats and missed spots (scans up to 15 m) (source: listing, checked 2025). | Water tank is only 200 ml — small for whole-house mopping (source: listing, checked 2025). |
| Millimeter-precise PSD obstacle detection and avoidance improves reliability in cluttered rooms. | No self-emptying base listed; you must manually empty the 450 ml dustbin. |
| Slim 95 mm body reaches under low furniture better than many rivals (source: listing, checked 2025). | Manufacturer does not list battery runtime or charging time in the provided details. |
| Carpet detection automatically avoids carpets in mop mode and boosts suction in vacuum mode. | Wi‑Fi defined as 2.4 GHz — no explicit 5 GHz support mentioned, which may affect some networks. |
| Pet-focused anti-tangle suction port and a visible 450 ml dustbin reduce maintenance surprises (source: listing, checked 2025). | Package contents and some specs (weight, run time, noise level) are not specified in the listing. |
| App, Alexa and Google Assistant support for scheduling and voice control; iWatch support noted. | iWatch is supported but the watch is not included; watch control requires separate device. |
Who Should Buy
- Owners of small-to-medium apartments or single-floor houses who want precise mapping and reliable navigation.

I like this vacuum – a very convenient solution to the issue of 5 cats leaving their hairs all over my house. The mop feature is mostly useless though, so I can’t give it a full 5 stars.
Pros:
It’s way quieter than a normal vacuum. You can have a conversation with it running in the same room & not have to raise your voice at all. It’s only slightly annoying to have it running when you’re trying to listen to music/ the TV, or make a phone call.
It fits under all the furniture I have & gets between legs of chairs without me having to lift things, move things out of the way, wrestle with a power cord, then put everything back (the reasons none of us want to have to vacuum).
The dustbin will hold a lot of dirt & cat hair before it needs emptying. It has never had to quit a cleaning session early because the dustbin is too full.
The cats like to watch it work but they haven’t bothered it/ haven’t ridden on it & it hasn’t bothered them. My one cat likes to stand vigil at his food dish & the vacuum will just clean a one-inch circumference around him without trying to bump him out of the way. (It’s quiet enough that they don’t run in terror.)
Cons:
It’s advertised as working on both 2.4 Ghz & 5 Ghz Wi-Fi, but that turns out to be a total lie when you try to set it up &, suddenly, it NEEDS to connect it to the 2.4 Ghz (which I don’t know how to do & it was the specific reason I bought THIS model instead of hundreds of others). I did try pressing random buttons on my router before returning the device & it HAS been working ever since.
I have a raised threshold one half-inch high & four inches wide between two rooms that it continually struggles to climb over. It usually spends about 5 minutes there, trying, before backing down the way it came. Maybe one time in ten it actually makes it into & cleans the other room. – You’re not supposed to pick it up & help it get there, even if you feel sorry for it.
If you have the mop attached it has no chance of climbing onto anything. That’s supposedly a “feature” but when it gets into an area between two carpets and you watch it scoot back & forth repeatedly like a sad lost animal …you kind of feel bad for it.
The “mop” is just a gravity fed water reservoir with a removable (washable) cloth attached to the bottom. It doesn’t actually “mop” anything, so much as give it a very gentle slightly damp dusting. It wouldn’t clean a single dirty footprint off of a hard floor if you ran it for 100 cycles. It would only spread a spill around if it came across one.
The mop function, honestly, is pretty useless unless you have dark hardwood floors that show dust everyday.
When it’s finished cleaning, it goes back to its charging station, which could be a problem if the charging station is kept on a wood floor or carpet with the mop reservoir full (& continuously damp). So, if you’re using the mop, you have to remember to take that attachment off soon after it’s finished cleaning (or damage your floor).

I was between a couple of these robots to replace my Roomba that seems to have gone to Narnia because I can’t find it but that’s a story for another time. Prime day came round and this was the one that had the best price so I bought it. BEST DECISION EVER. Not only does it empty itself, it also mops my floors and is super quiet unlike the Roomba which sounded like a wrecking crew. It also has this feature that if it runs out of power while cleaning it goes back to the base, recharges and then goes back to where it left off to finish. It looks super modern and cleans amazingly well, my floors look and feel clean. The app maps your house and you can see where the robot is at any time while in use and also has a ping feature in case it gets lost. Works amazing.

I bought the vacuum cleaner from abroad, without really knowing it or having seen it, only from the reviews I read on Amazon. The product arrived perfectly packaged, on time and in perfect condition.
The manual is simple and has clear instructions, correctly translated from Chinese to English, so it wasn’t difficult to get it up and running. It came with everything the box stated: charger, cable, mop liquid container, floor mop, two sets of brushes, and a HEPA filter. This same filter has a very thin foam filter, which unfortunately broke the third time I cleaned it with a brush: this seems to be normal, and the brand should review its specifications.
It’s essential to place the base in a location where the device can be easily returned and where there aren’t too many clutter around it to avoid problems. Install Lefant’s proprietary app, and following the step-by-step instructions makes it easy to connect to Wi-Fi and your cell phone. This allows you not only to give commands to the robot but also to schedule different cleanings, check the map the vacuum cleaner is creating, etc.
Regarding the location system, the LIDAR is really good at generating a real-time map as it scans the terrain the first time we turn it on; that’s why it’s essential to choose the right resting and charging location, otherwise we’ll have to redo the map if we move it. As the vacuum cleaner moves, it generates this map that automatically detects the rooms, although it also has an editing system that allows it to do this, determining the cleaning order for each room, blocking off areas, etc. The map is updated with each pass the robot makes, and the phone’s software is responsible for correctly “determining” some lines on it, as well as independent spaces. One detail: in my case, the vacuum cleaner thinks the space under the main bed is another room, so I can ask it to clean the entire room or just that space.
Cleaning is effective, with two effective brushes and adequate suction power for daily, non-deep cleaning. It has three power levels: a quiet one, a normal one, and a powerful one. Generally speaking, normal vacuuming is enough for an average home with the usual crumbs, dust, and pet hair. In this regard, I have a long-haired cat, and it’s noticeable how time and again when the robot vacuums, I find tons of loose hair and dirt: this situation has really improved in my home. The battery life is adequate, although in a 50 square meter area, I’ve seen that when using the highest suction power, when it reaches 60% of the remaining battery, it decides to recharge (I don’t know why or if it’s a programming glitch).
If you have long-pile carpets, it’s advisable to lift them off the floor and not let the vacuum cleaner pass near or over them, as the brushes get tangled in the long hair, causing it to jam and prevent it from cleaning further. Although it has a carpet mode, it’s designed for hard and short-pile carpets, where it basically increases the suction power. But, again, this is a problem with long-pile carpets. Regarding this, when the vacuum cleaner gets stuck or detects a situation it can’t resolve, it emits a voice alert clarifying the situation, and a notification is sent to the phone, more specifically to the dedicated app. This app is very comprehensive and allows you to view real-time and aggregated statistics on the robot’s work. I must say that the Chinese to English translation is better than the Spanish one, so I recommend using it in English.
I haven’t used the mop enough to comment, but from the little I’ve used it, it’s accurate in terms of the amount of liquid and the way it’s distributed. You can add some kind of cleaner, as long as it’s light, not sticky, and doesn’t leave residue.
In conclusion, it’s a purchase I recommend, a good product that fulfills its purpose. If I could improve it, I would make it come with a larger number of spare parts or make them easier to purchase, since it doesn’t have much information and when looking for them, you have to rely on other brands or models.

Easy set up, does a good job but seems to be all over the place vs doing straight line vacuuming
Does eventually get the whole area
Great job getting around furniture legs and tight spots . Used mop feature once seemed to do good but spotty on water dispersal.
Love the return to base and self empty feature
LOW NOISE

Let’s be real—if vacuums had a popularity contest, the Lefant Robot Vacuum would win “Most Likely to Succeed.” Don’t let its small size fool you; this little guy is like the vacuum version of an overachiever. It zooms around your home, picking up pet hair, dust, and whatever else your floors can throw at it, all while being so low-profile it can slide under furniture like a ninja. With WiFi, app, and Alexa control, I’m convinced this thing might actually be smarter than me (and definitely more motivated to clean). I’m just glad it doesn’t judge my messy floors before it goes to work. Plus, I’ve had this vacuum for a year now, and it’s been smooth sailing with no issues so far!
Pros:
-Strong 2200pa suction power that makes sure not a speck of dust or pet hair is left behind. Seriously, it’s like a tiny tornado on wheels.
-Compact design means it fits under couches, tables, and anywhere else dust bunnies like to hide. No spot is safe!
-Easy control via app, WiFi, or Alexa—because who doesn’t love telling their vacuum what to do?
Self-charging feature is a game changer. It’s like having a cleaning assistant that knows when it’s time for a break.
-Reliable performance for over a year with no problems. It’s held up exceptionally well!
Cons:
-It’s so effective that you might forget what it’s like to vacuum manually—wait, is that a con or a pro?
-Doesn’t handle high-pile carpets very well, but it’s a champ on hard floors and low-pile carpets.
-The dustbin could be a bit larger, especially if you’ve got pets that shed like it’s their job. But hey, it’s easy to empty, so no biggie.
In conclusion: the Lefant Robot Vacuum may be small, but it packs a punch. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to keep their home clean without lifting a finger. Just sit back, relax, and let this little powerhouse do all the work. Your floors (and your back) will thank you!

We bought this on sale after our last robot vacuum/mop finally died, and we have no regrets. The mapping is excellent — you can clean specific areas and set no-go zones. We have a small step that trapped other robots, but this one stops exactly where we tell it to. With three cats it picks up hair very well and even detects carpets/rugs to avoid mopping them. The mop exceeded our expectations: it’s thorough and won’t move on until the area is clean. The only downside is the noise when it empties itself, though it isn’t a deal-breaker (we haven’t tested it at night yet). Battery life is great — it hasn’t dropped below 75% during a clean. Lots of useful features overall; if you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to buy it.

I am really impressed with this little Lefant robot vacuum! It’s compact, quiet, and does a pretty decent job picking up dust, crumbs, and everyday messes, even in corners and under furniture. The battery lasts long enough to cover an entire floor, and the mobile app makes scheduling cleanings super simple. So far, it’s been reliable, convenient, and has definitely made daily cleaning much easier.

If vacuums had a popularity contest, the Lefant Robot Vacuum would take the crown. Don’t be fooled by its compact size — this little unit is a serious performer. It zips around the house collecting pet hair, dust, and debris, and its low profile lets it slide under furniture like a pro. With Wi‑Fi, app control, and Alexa compatibility, it feels smarter than me (and definitely more eager to clean). I’ve been using it for a year with no problems, and it’s been consistently reliable.

Cons:
Bottom line: small but mighty, the Lefant Robot Vacuum is ideal for anyone who wants a hands‑off way to keep floors tidy. Sit back and let it handle the work — your floors (and your back) will thank you.

We ordered this after our last robot vacuum/mop combo finally gave out, we got it on sale so figured it was worth a try. Absolutely no regrets with this, the mapping is great and gives you the option to clean just a specific area if needed and also create no go zones which for us is great as we have a small step down that all other robots went over and got stuck, this one stops exactly where you tell it to.
We also have 3 cats and it does a great job of picking up the cat hair and it will even detect carpets/rugs and clean around them. The mop feature is better than I expected and got the floor perfectly clean as it is very thorough and won’t move on until the current area is clean.
The only slight negative is how loud the vacuum is when emptying itself but that’s not a big deal, not tested at night yet so don’t know if it would wake us up. There are many more features that make it easier on the consumer. If you are in doubt then don’t delay and buy it today!
Battery life is great, it hasn’t dropped below 75% when doing a clean.

This is our second robot vacuum and our first from Lafant. I was impressed with the quality of cleaning from the first pass. The mapping software actually maps out the entire floor. Then I can easily choose what areas I want cleaned. It has twice the suction of our first robot and we could tell from the git go. I am impressed how the robot avoids items in its path yet knows what areas it has to clean yet. Very impressive technology. The self-emptying feature works great. It was a great purchase on Amazon Prime days.

I’m really pleased with this compact Lefant robot vacuum — it’s quiet and does a solid job picking up dust, crumbs, and everyday messes, even in corners and under furniture. The battery lasts long enough to clean an entire floor, and the mobile app makes scheduling effortless. It’s been reliable, convenient, and has made daily cleaning much easier.

I’ve been using the Lefant M330 Pro for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. This little robot is surprisingly powerful for its size—picking up dust, pet hair, and crumbs with ease.
• Smart navigation: It maps the room well and rarely misses spots, even along edges and under furniture.
• Strong suction: Handles both hardwood and low-pile carpets without getting stuck.
• Quiet yet effective: Runs quietly enough not to disturb conversations or TV time.
• Easy maintenance: The dustbin is simple to empty, and the app makes scheduling super convenient.
• Slim design: Fits under couches and beds where my upright vacuum never reached!
I also appreciate the long battery life—one charge easily covers my living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. Setup was quick, and the app connection was seamless.
If you’re looking for an affordable yet high-performing robot vacuum, the M330 Pro is a fantastic choice. It’s made daily cleaning effortless and keeps my floors looking spotless. Highly recommende

I bought this on sale for half-price, but knowing how well it works I would happily pay full price. It’s the best of the four robot vacuums I’ve owned—two of the others stopped working, the third still runs but not as well. The standout feature for us is that its filter system doesn’t get clogged with dog hair.
Previous model problem: our old vacuum used a roller brush that wrapped long hair and lots of dog hair, and the narrow channel to the dust collector eventually became clogged.
Why I like the Lefant:
No comment on the mop function — I haven’t used it.
Cons:
Update (almost two months later): I love this vacuum even more. It wakes several times a day and methodically vacuums, then quietly returns to its base. This has turned out to be the best appliance purchase we’ve made.

I like this vacuum — it’s a very convenient solution for dealing with five cats and all their hair. I can’t give it five stars because the mop feature is mostly useless.
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, great for quiet, hands‑off vacuuming of pet hair and everyday dust, but don’t expect a real mopping performance.
