There are many options when it comes to vacations in the United States. Each state offers something different, but you should seriously consider visiting Colorado this summer.

The major cities and towns in Colorado are buzzing hubs of activity in summer and make great places to stay. Denver is the capital of the state of Colorado and if you are flying in from another state or outside the US, this is where you are likely to arrive.

If you enjoy your beer, Colorado is the place for you. There are over 200 craft breweries throughout the state and the Great American Beer Festival takes place in Colorado every year.

It is usually sometime in September so you will have to hang on at the end of the summer but it is worth the wait. While many of the leading breweries are in the major cities, there is plenty to discover in the mountain towns, which are perfect for exploring in the summer months.

There are many organized brewery tours to book and they all come with tasting sessions.
