Introduction
This is a compact, lightweight BISSELL vacuum designed for quick cleanups on hard floors and small surfaces. The listing highlights scatter-free technology to trap debris rather than push it around, a user-friendly dirt container that empties with a button press, and suction the brand calls “powerful.” Every purchase also supports the BISSELL Pet Foundation’s work to help save homeless pets (source: listing, checked 2025).
Who this is for: people who need a grab-and-go machine for everyday crumbs, pet messes, and quick touch-ups on hard floors — especially those who appreciate a lighter tool that’s easy to move from room to room. Quick verdict: a practical, no-frills lightweight cleaner that aims to make small messes faster to handle.
What’s in the Box
- Not specified (the listing does not list included components or attachments).
Design & Build
This BISSELL model is built for portability. The listing states it weighs less than 8 pounds (source: listing, checked 2025), which places it in the lightweight category for household vacuums. That kind of weight makes it straightforward to lift up and down stairs, carry between rooms, and stow in a closet or small cupboard.
Materials and finish are not detailed in the listing, so I won’t guess exact plastics or finishes. Ergonomically, the emphasis on maneuverability suggests a form factor intended for one-handed use and easy steering across hard floors. The “scatter-free” intake design implies the machine’s front nozzle and brush geometry are arranged to pull debris inward rather than push it aside, which helps when cleaning crumbs or pet litter. The dirt container uses a single-button empty mechanism, which is convenient and minimizes contact with dust and debris.
Key Features
Scatter-Free Technology
What it does: the system is engineered to capture dry messes on hard floors without sending particles flying across the room.
Why it helps: when you sweep or vacuum a visible spill, the last thing you want is for crumbs or litter to be pushed to the room edge or under furniture. Scatter-free technology reduces the need for repeat passes and makes cleanups quicker and more satisfying. In homes with kids, pets, or frequent snack-time messes, this prevents the “chase the crumbs” loop and saves time.
Powerful Suction
What it does: the listing describes the unit as delivering powerful suction from a single, compact machine.
Why it helps: stronger suction improves pickup of dry debris, small stones, cereal, and pet kibble crumbs on hard-surface floors. For households with shedding pets, dependable suction is particularly useful for lifting pet hair and dander from smooth surfaces before it accumulates.
Note: the listing labels suction as “powerful,” but it does not provide numeric airflow, sealed suction, or wattage figures, so I don’t attempt to quantify it here (source: listing, checked 2025).
Lightweight and Maneuverable
What it does: weighs less than 8 pounds and is designed to be easy to transport.
Why it helps: lighter vacuums reduce fatigue during frequent use and make it easier to reach spaces like upstairs, car interiors, or storage shelves. If you prefer short, frequent cleanups over pulling out a heavy upright, a sub-8-pound machine is a meaningful convenience. It’s also easier to hand to someone who might struggle with a heavier unit.
Easy Empty Dirt Container
What it does: the dirt cup empties with the push of a button, minimizing contact with collected debris.
Why it helps: disposable or hard-to-empty bins often make quick cleaning feel messy. A one-button release speeds maintenance and keeps hands cleaner. This is especially helpful after picking up pet litter, snacks, or dusty debris—emptying becomes a two-second task rather than a messy chore.
Support for BISSELL Pet Foundation
What it does: a portion of purchases supports BISSELL Pet Foundation and its mission to help save homeless pets.
Why it helps: for many buyers, knowing a product purchase contributes to a charitable cause adds emotional value. If animal welfare is important to you, this program provides an additional reason to choose this BISSELL option (source: listing, checked 2025).
Performance & Use
Setup
- The listing does not provide step-by-step setup instructions or mention included accessories. Typical use starts by charging (if cordless) or plugging in (if corded); since the power source isn’t specified here, check the product packaging or manual for details. Because the listing omits power source and runtime specs, confirm those before purchase if battery life matters to you.
Daily use tips
- For scattered crumbs and dry spills on tile, hardwood, or vinyl, position the nozzle directly over the mess and push slowly to let the scatter-free intake capture particles efficiently.
- Empty the dirt container immediately after messy jobs to avoid stale odors or caked-on debris.
- If you have pets, run the unit along baseboards and around feeding areas regularly to prevent buildup of hair and kibble fragments.
Maintenance
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth; do not submerge the motorized parts (the listing provides no washability details).
- Check the dirt container and any visible filters; clean or replace filters according to the manual—if a filter type isn’t listed, look for HEPA or foam pre-filters on the packaging or product documentation.
- Inspect brush rolls or nozzles for tangled hair and debris; remove hair carefully to maintain performance.
What to watch for
- The listing highlights hard-floor performance, so if you plan to use this primarily on rugs or carpet, test it or verify carpet suitability before committing. The scatter-free claim specifically targets hard floors, and there are no listed carpet-optimization details.
- The listing does not specify runtime, cord length, or battery recharge time, which are common decision points for cordless handhelds. If you need long continuous cleaning sessions, check the detailed spec sheet or Q&A on the retailer site.

Final Thoughts & Buying Advice
If your cleaning routine consists mostly of quick pickups on hard floors — cereal spills, pet kibble, surface dust — this lightweight BISSELL option looks like a sensible tool for the job. Its scatter-free intake and easy-empty bin are practical features that reduce friction between noticing a mess and cleaning it up. The unit’s under-8-pound weight removes a common barrier to frequent use: carrying and lifting equipment.
However, the listing omits several technical details that matter to some buyers: it doesn’t list whether the unit is corded or cordless, battery runtime, filter specifics, or included accessories. If you need any of those facts, check the full product page, the manual, or retailer Q&A before buying.
Short CTA: If a portable, easy-to-use machine for fast hard-floor cleanups fits your needs, this BISSELL is worth a closer look—just confirm cord/battery and accessory details on the product page before purchasing.

I love this vacuum cleaner for my rugs in my apartment, it’s small enough to put it in any corner of a room, it works great too, nice color, and it doesn’t make alot of noise while using it. The price was great too, I would recommend these product to anyone looking for a good small vacuum cleaner that’s living in a small apartment or room to buy this product. Also, it’s light weight too. I’m loving using it that’s why I can’t wait for my rug to get any dirt on it, so I can use my vacuum cleaner to clean it up fast and easy.

I was hesitant only because I had a smaller compact lighter Bissell which picked up very little of my rescue dog hair. I hope you can see the photo submitted. The canister is full! With just one easy pass over my carpet. I have wall to wall plus an area rug over it. I will be able to breathe better without all the sneezing. This came practically fully assembled aside from the handle. The cord is very long. I bought this because I had numerous vacs. The Shark Pet Vac was so, so heavy and with all these different attachments and where you could turn it to a hand held Vac also. The stick rechargeable vacs are useless also I have one. This is fairly light I won’t get tired. I bought it because it was Cheap! I looked at the Amazon Basic Vac but the Bissell looked better. The only thing is maybe I should of upgraded with a power cord, a headlight. That’s the only thing I would of liked but I saved a few bucks. I did not find it to noisy only because I have tinnitus which out does the noise . I’m very happy that It picked up all this dog hair. Yuck! On to my hallway runners.

Purchased July 2025 prime days. Chicagoland.
When box arrived I thought I accidentally bought a toy…haha.. very small box. Small little vacuum… However, it works GREAT.. I actually love the fact that it’s so small and LIGHTWEIGHT! I had a Hoover Pet XL that I loved and lasted me a long time… But it was heavy and I’d always put off vacuuming much longer than I should because it was such a task to haul it around the house. This little Bissell is wonderful, lightweight, powerful suction. I have two small dogs. One sheds a lot and now I vacuum often like I should have been all along. YOU SHOULD BUY THIS VACUUM… I have one negative comment. The attachments. The pegs that you put them on should be longer or tighter… The brush attachment, the angled extended one… Because when I’m vacuuming they always seem to fall off, get knocked off. Bissell should improve this… There are three attachments. I think I’m just going to keep them in my laundry room and just detach them from the vacuum all together. Besides that, it really is a great vacuum, very small and lightweight and powerful.

This is a pretty good vacuum for the price. I had purchased a different vacuum but had to return it since it didn’t have a height adjustment feature. Anyone who owns carpeting knows you need a height adjustment on a vacuum or you’re going to injure your back and the vacuum is likely to not work too long.
I’ve owned 3 vacuums that came with a “turbo” brush and I have to say, this is the first one where the turbo brush actually works so kudos to bissell for getting that right. The head of the vacuum is fairly narrow so if you have a large house, you probably will want a vacuum with a larger width but on the plus side, the smaller vacuum head makes it a bit easier to get into tighter areas.
2 things I do dislike- this one isn’t just on this vacuum, it seems most vacuums now come with a super short crevice tool which is very annoying. The other thing how low the tabs are that you wind the cord around, so you do have to get down lown for that. It’d be better if this were spaced wider on the back so you could wind up the cord easier. I’ve seen some complain about the cord length. I don’t think you’ll find many vacuums with a cord longer than this. Will you have to unplug it & plug it into a different plug to do the whole house? Of course, but that’s a no-brainer.
All in all, for the price, if you’re on a budget, this is a fairly good vacuum.

EL MATERIAL ES SENCILLO PERO NO TANTO, CONSIDERO QUE SI LA CUIDO ME TARDARÁ. RECOGE LOS PELOS Y POLVO MUY BIEN. LO ÚNICO QUE ME GUSTARÍA ES QUE LOS ACCESORIOS FUERAN DE UN LARGO MÁS GRANDE PARA LIMPIAR SILLONES O MUEBLES, PUES LA MANGUERA ESTA CORTITA. EN GENERAL ME TIENE ENCATADA.

Çok hevesle aldım ama daha ilk kullanımda motoru yandı ve düz zeminde kullanırken

I have two huskies and live in a small apartment so my vacuums aren’t mere appliances, they’re soldiers, conscripted against their will into a war they can never win. I have tried every brand of vacuum, from the nicest Dyson and Miele to the lowliest, well… this.
Based on the size and build quality this almost seems like a children’s toy. I believe you could give this to a little kid and watch them happily vacuum for you. It is small, and very simply built. However it has great power and suction, and aggressively gobbles up dirt, hair, etc. The canister is narrow and usually clogs on me (with hair) before it’s full, and I have to manually pull the hair out. This has also happened with larger vacuums as well, so I can’t really fault it. I think for normal-level dirt and debris it does great. Entire unit is lightweight and easy to use on stairs. The only attachment I’ve used is the nozzle and it works fine. I put it directly on the hose, you don’t have to detach the handle like the book suggests, to me that just wastes suction power.
Overall for the price this is a great vacuum and still going strong after a year of use. I expected it would tap out long ago.
