Introduction

This is a full-sized upright vacuum designed to be easier to carry than most cleaners in its class. It combines a low overall weight (under 12 lbs.) with a convertible design that turns the main unit into a lighter pod for stairs and elevated surfaces. The machine emphasizes sealed airflow with a HEPA-grade filter and a two-motor setup intended to boost cleaning power across floors and carpets.

Who this is for: people who want serious cleaning performance from an upright unit but need something portable enough to move between levels and into tighter spaces. Quick verdict: If you want the suction and tool set of an upright without the bulk, this lightweight upright vacuum is a compelling middle ground.

What’s in the Box

  • Main upright vacuum unit (full-sized, lightweight design) — Not specified beyond description
  • Individual upholstery tool (included)
  • 3-in-1 combination tool (crevice tool, dusting brush, upholstery tool) (included)
  • Hose with extended reach (9′ reach) — Not specified if detachable or length of physical hose beyond reach
  • User manual / documentation — Not specified
  • Other accessories — Not specified

If you need a complete accessory list (exact counts, extra brushes, replacement filters), the listing does not specify every item.

Design & Build

The vacuum is a full-sized upright that’s been engineered to stay light: under 12 pounds as stated by the manufacturer (source: listing, checked 2025). That weight class makes it easier to carry up and down stairs and to lift into closets or into a car for transport. The lift-up design converts the main body into a compact pod for above-floor work, which reduces the strain of hauling a full upright for tasks like tackling stairs or reaching high upholstery.

Externally, the unit includes a swivel steering head and an LED headlight to help you see dirt under furniture or in dim corners. Materials aren’t explicitly described in the listing; from the appearance and category you can expect molded plastic for the body and handle with metal reinforcements where needed, but the listing does not specify plastic type or chassis construction.

Ergonomics are focused on portability and maneuverability. The swivel head and LED improve navigation around furniture, and the pod/pulldown configuration reduces bending and awkward lifting when cleaning higher surfaces. Because weight is low, users who dislike heavy vacuums will find this design friendlier for repeated short bursts of cleaning.

Key Features

Lightweight (Under 12 lbs.)

Benefit: Easier to move, lift and store than heavier uprights.Where it helps: Carrying up and down stairs, lifting into closets, or transporting the unit in a vehicle for multi-site cleaning. The lighter mass also reduces fatigue during extended vacuuming sessions (source: listing, checked 2025).

850-Watt Motor Power

Benefit: Provides the electrical power driving suction and brush performance without being oversized.Where it helps: Bringing more consistent performance across bare floors and carpeted areas while remaining efficient for household use. The listing states the motor rating as 850.0 watts (source: listing, checked 2025).

Lift-Up Technology

Benefit: Instantly converts the upright into a lightweight pod for stairs and above-floor cleaning.Where it helps: Cleaning stair risers, couches, drapes, or car interiors where hauling the full upright would be impractical. This makes spot-cleaning and multi-surface jobs faster and less physically demanding (lift-up technology — source: listing, checked 2025).

Completely Sealed Air Path with HEPA Filtration

Benefit: Traps fine particles and prevents cleaned dust from being blown back into the room.Where it helps: Households with allergy sufferers or anyone who wants cleaner exhaust air; the system is rated to trap 99.97% of dust down to 0.3 microns (HEPA filtration) (source: listing, checked 2025).

Two-Motor System

Benefit: Separates functions — typically one motor for brush roll/airflow and another for suction or auxiliary systems — aiming to boost overall cleaning power.Where it helps: Improves deep cleaning on carpets and keeps suction steady on bare floors where multi-surface performance is needed. The listing mentions a 2-motor configuration to support more powerful cleaning (source: listing, checked 2025).

Extended Reach — 9′ Hose

Benefit: Allows access to high or hard-to-reach spots without moving the main unit frequently.Where it helps: Reaching behind furniture, cleaning curtains, stairwells, ceiling corners, and car interiors where a conventional short hose would limit reach. The listing specifies a 9-foot reach (source: listing, checked 2025).

Swivel Steering + LED Headlight

Benefit: Easier navigation around furniture and better visibility in shadowed areas.Where it helps: Tight living rooms, between table legs, under sofas, and along baseboards where it’s important to spot hidden debris and avoid bumping furniture.

Versatile Tool Set

Benefit: A dedicated upholstery tool plus a 3-in-1 tool (crevice, dusting brush, upholstery) covers most household cleaning needs.Where it helps: Quick transitions from floor to fabric, getting into seams and edges, dusting shelves and vents, and targeting pet hair on furniture. Exact counts beyond the tools listed are not specified.

Performance & Use

Setup is straightforward: assemble the handle and any required attachments, plug in, and select the appropriate performance mode if the unit has multiple settings (the listing does not specify mode options). Because this unit is plug-in (no battery data provided), expect steady power without run-time concerns associated with cordless models; the listing does not list cord length, so plan for an extension if you have wide open rooms.

For best results on mixed floors, start with a wide sweep on low speed (if there’s a control) to collect surface dirt, then run a second pass focusing on edges and high-traffic zones. Use the upholstery tool and the 3-in-1 combination tool for sofas, car interiors, and tight crevices. The lift-up pod makes stair cleaning less awkward — keep it in pod mode while working the steps and switch back for larger areas.

Maintenance tips:

  • Empty the dust bin after each heavy session; the listing does not specify bin capacity or whether the unit uses bags.
  • Check and clean pre-motor filters regularly; the listing confirms a HEPA-level sealed path but does not include recommended replacement intervals. If you have allergies, follow a stricter cleaning schedule.
  • Clear hair and fibers from the brush roll to maintain performance.
  • Inspect the hose and tools for blockages if suction feels reduced.
  • Store the tools with the vacuum or in a nearby closet so they’re on hand for quick spot cleaning.

Noise level, exact brush roll types, dust cup capacity and warranty terms are not specified in the listing, so if those factors are important to you, seek clarification from the seller or manufacturer.

Where to buy

Pros vs Cons

Pros Cons
Very lightweight for a full-sized upright (under 12 lbs.) — easier to carry and use (source: listing, checked 2025). Dust cup capacity and whether it’s bagged or bagless are not specified in the listing.
Convertible lift-up pod design for stairs and above-floor work — reduces strain and speeds up spot cleaning (source: listing, checked 2025). Cord length and overall reach from power outlet are not listed; may need an extension for large rooms.
HEPA-level sealed air path traps 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns — helpful for allergy concerns (source: listing, checked 2025). Noise levels and exact decibel ratings are not provided.
Two-motor system claims stronger cleaning across carpets and hard floors (source: listing, checked 2025). Filter replacement interval and availability of replacement HEPA filters are not specified.
9-foot hose reach and included tool set make it versatile for whole-home cleaning (source: listing, checked 2025). No explicit materials, warranty length, or durability testing details in the listing.

Who Should Buy

  • People who want the cleaning power of an upright but need a model that’s easy to lift and transport.
  • Homes with mixed surfaces (hard floors + carpets) where a multi-motor system and tool set are helpful.
  • Households with allergy concerns that will benefit from a sealed, HEPA-rated filtration path.

Who Shouldn’t Buy

  • Buyers who need detailed specs up front (e.g., dust cup volume, cord length, exact dimensions, or noise data) without contacting the seller.
  • Those who prefer cordless freedom; this model appears to be mains-powered and the listing gives no battery details.
  • People requiring a specific commercial-grade warranty or materials specification — warranty and chassis construction are not listed.

Final Thoughts & Buying Advice

If you’re balancing cleaning performance with portability, this lightweight upright vacuum offers a sensible compromise: full-sized reach and tools with a sub-12-pound package and a convertible pod for stairs and upholstery. The sealed HEPA path and two-motor design are particularly attractive for homes with pets or allergy sensitivities. However, the listing omits several practical details — bin capacity, cord length, noise level, and filter replacement guidance — so if any of those are deal-breakers, contact the seller for clarification before buying.

If you value maneuverability and easy stair cleaning with HEPA-level filtration, this model is worth considering. Otherwise, if you need full spec transparency or cordless convenience, compare models that provide those specifics up-front.

I just got this yesterday. I needed a light weight vac, as I have back issues. It put together quickly and easily and the tools store securely on either side of the back. I found the cord to be quite adequate for me at 25 feet. I was happily surprised at its powerful suction. The dust cup was filled almost immediately. It empties easily right over the trash bin. I’m pleased it has a HEPPA filter.
Probably because it’s a light weight vac
It seems less sturdy, but the deep level of cleaning to have was really excellent.
I hope, with responsible use on my part, it lasts a very long time. It’s also quieter than most vacuums.
I took a chance and ordered a second this morning while it is still on sale.
5 starts for cleaning performance, light weight, easy use design. Cannot comment yet on longevity.
Will amend review if it breaks down easily.

This thing replace our broken Dyson. At first, i got it so that we can have a back up vacuum cleaner since we were planning to get another Dyson… but this thing impressed me so much that we have decided to ride it out without another expensive dyson. So far , 1 month in, this has been a pleasure to use. It picks up dog food MUCH better than my old dyson, It is quieter and honestly i think it has stronger suction. The best thing overall, is how versatile it is, it disassembles with a single flick out of its scrubbing head and you can carry it around which is tremendous for the stairs !! The stairs with my old Dyson were a pain , because the dyson was so heavy, where this Kenmore is much much lighter after you detach it and much easier to get the stairs done. Overall, really impressed by this vacuum – it just feels much more modern with the adjustability that it has. Hope it lasts for a while.

I was on the hunt for a new vacuum and was going to get a Shark until I scrolled upon this and read reviews. I bought based off the reviews and crossed my fingers.
It is literally the BEST vacuum! I vacuumed 3 times a week and sometimes twice a day on weekends. This thing sucked soo much dirt and hair that my other left behind! It was shocking to see how much stuff was in the carpet.
I love that you can adjust the suction and can have the front roller on or off. Roller is easy to clean. The bottom comes off, so you can carry the rest and use the hose. The front turns which makes it easy to get to those certain spots. Attachments are easy to put on and remove. Filters are easy to remove and clean.
This picks up anything and everything in its way. I can even use it on my fur rugs without it getting stuck in fur. It picks up everything off the hardwood and linoleum. It works great for the car, too!#№ I love this vacuum so much, I WANT to use it daily.
I’ve had it a couple months and no complaints. It’s an amazing vacuum for the price! It’s light weight and looks nice too.
If you are in the fence, just get it. You won’t regret it!

UPDATE: I purchased this in March 2024, today Dec 2024 the beater bar seized up. This is normally just a easy issue of taking the vac apart and cleaning around ball bearing area of the bar (I have yet to find a vacuum that doesn’t have an issue with that). But with this one it has a plastic housing that goes around the bar to the motor. I was able to get one end off and clean it but when it came to the end with the plastic housing, it was impossible to clean it without breaking it. I’m ordering a Bissell now, will see how that goes. Too bad I really liked this Kenmore.

UPDATE #2 It is 3.25.25 I have contacted the company again, and I am STILL waiting for the replacement part. They said it would be here in 3 wks, they keep telling me as they have told others that its on backorder (I can see why, as easily as it breaks). I know I will never get the part, if I do it will probably be a year down the road, its already been 4 months.

FINAL UPDATE 6.5.2025 – I never did get the part. Thankfully I had Asurion insurance on this piece of junk and they stepped in and gave me a refund since the original manufacturer HAS YET to send me the part. This used to be a good brand years ago, not so anymore. Won’t buy anything from them again.

    SHORT REVIEW:
    Pros
good suction, does well on all surface types
    cord is of good length
lift off feature is great for stairs and high ceilings
onboard tools work as they should
light is a nice feature many vacs lack these days
    excellent maneuverability
    quiet
dirt cup has a decent capacity (unlike stick vacs that have to be emptied more often)
seems to have excellent filtration, helped us with our allergies

    Cons:
if you have a wide open floor plan keep in mind this vac has a narrow cleaning path then some of the bigger bulkier kinds

not self cleaning brush, you must clean the roller brush of hair every so often (I haven’t had to do it yet but I will after a few uses to keep it in good shape)

as with any upright, does not get under furniture, the head will go under sofas etc but if your trying to get under a coffee table you won’t be able to get the whole vac under, will have to use wand, but this is common with any upright.

    LONG REVIEW:

I have very old house which has every flooring imaginable, wood, throw rugs of every kind (thin, braided, etc) carpet, linoleum….little bit of everything. We also have very long, narrow steep steps with a stair lift on them (thus, even more narrow and trying to work around it). We live directly on a 4 lane road with heavy traffic, and thus we get ALOT of dirt and grime that enters the house from the road no matter how often we clean. And….a relative has asthma so keeping home as clean and dust free is a priority for me. I had a Shark Rocket stick vac awhile back, but it didn’t last as long as I hoped, and I have a medical condition that causes muscle weakness so while the Shark was fairly light, due to its design it would become heavy for me over time. When it “died” I decided I didn’t want to fork over the $ right away to get a new vac, so I used a shop vac with carpet floor attachment. But I soon noted it was not getting the floor cleans so I bought this vac. I had just vacuumed a few days prior to getting this one, and had a 9×12 area rug I wanted to try it out on. I FILLED THE CUP 2/3 full with dirt and hair that previous vacuuming had not gotten. I have also noted the asthma issue is better for a family member, and my own allergies have gotten much better.

    Pros:

throw rugs – Does well on all throw rugs of any size and thickness (trust me I have them all lol, 21 rugs in total) Some people mentioned it had to much suction for thin ones I am wondering if they used the lever on the handle to reduce suction. I myself didn’t have an issue and it adjusted to any height.

carpet – does great on carpet, we have a huge area area (one mentioned above) that is older and has very dense weave to it, apparently other vacs did not get the dirt out, when I vacuumed with this one there was alot of dirt and hair that came out of the rug as if I had never vacuumed it before. It also did well on typical pile carpet.

linoleum – does not shoot dirt and stuff back at you like some vacuums do (mainly because it turns off the roller brush for hard surfaces) and it had no problem picking up things like dropped cheerios etc in kitchen.

hard wood floors – does fine on those as well

stairs – wow, this thing spoiled me. A big reason I decided to go with this vac is the “lift off” feature for stairs and high areas (our ceilings are 10′) with the typical upright vac it tips over if you try to use the hose, and canister vacs aren’t long enough to reach all the steps, and the stick vac I found didn’t have alot of flexibility to get into corners on the steps since stick vacs don’t have a hose.

filters – I think it does very well with this, as said our allergies are much much better since using it.

cord length – just fine, not too long, not to short….most rooms in this old house are 12×15 and I was usually able to do 1-2 rooms before having to move plug to another outlet

light – I grew up at time when all vacs had a light on them, when they started making them without it I just got used to it, its been years since I had one with a light and wow, it helps so much if you do have alot of furniture, there was alot of stuff I probably would have missed otherwise.

maneuverability – we not only have a million throw rugs, in this old house we got alot of old furniture, with typical uprights with a fixed head its a nightmare trying to get around stuff. The swivel head makes it very easy. Some people complained about the head “shifting” has they vacuum but all swivel head vacs do that, when I first got the shark had the same issue. Its like riding a bike, you have to learn how to hold it, once you do you don’t have a problem, it just has a different feel than when vacuuming with regular uprights.

onboard tools – they all work fine, and did great on the sofa. One review on here said the vacuum doesn’t have an extension wand. It does, its the “neck” of the vacuum which I find very convenient if I spot something infront of the vac I need to get to, instead of trying to wrangle around it, I just use the extension tool, reach over the vac, clean the area and be done with it.

noise – its the quietest vac I’ve had. I’m sure there are probably other vacs that are quieter but to me, this was very quiet.

weight – its slightly heavier than I anticipated, BUT, its still not “heavy”. As mentioned I have a muscle weakness condition, and I found the vac easy to use, even on stairs.

    Cons:

I personally didn’t have any but you may want to consider these factors if they are an issue for you

getting under furniture – as with any upright, this is just not going to happen. We have some end tables that about 12-14″ tall at the base (bottom of the table) and it could not easily get under there (which is not a problem for me, I just use extension wand, but for people used to stick vacs, it may be annoying).

large areas – our house has alot of throw rugs, lots of furniture…lots of cubby hole type stuff so a vac with a smaller cleaning path is 100% ideal for us, it makes it easy to get the vac into areas where a larger vac wouldn’t be able to. But, if you have a wide open large area with little furniture, keep in mind this vac has a narrow cleaning path and it may take you a bit longer than with some of the bigger vacs out there, but again its a trade off as those bigger vacs are also usually heavier and bulkier.

TIP: My old shark (well, not old, I purchased it a few years back) it basically melted down where the roller brush is. While looking for a new vacuum, I noted this is an issue with many brands, and I think i remember seeing people complain about that with this vac. Keep in mind, some vacs have “self cleaning” brushes, but not all vacs do and this one does not (neither did my shark). If you don’t periodically clean the brush head of hair, you will eventually run into an issue. I did clean the shark but later realized after it died and I took it apart I didn’t remove the hair by the outer edges. So, keep that in mind when using this and other vacs.

EDIT: I noted some people mention motor issues where it stops suddenly. This vac has a safety feature to protect the motor, if it gets clogged or tangled, it will shut down to protect the motor, and you have to clear the clog or tangle before it will start again, it has a red light that comes on in this case, my shark had a similar feature. (I’ve never had this one clog on me).

Bought the vacuum, assemble the vacuum, used the vaccum for two minutes, the vacuum broke down 🙂 the problem was it was connected to a 220V instead of 110V, when I connected it to a 110V and waited for around 30 minutes it worked perfectly,

There is a lot to like about this vacuum. It does a great job of cleaning on both area rugs and bare floors. All can look clean when beginning vacuuming, but this little baby picks up seen and unseen debris with a surprising amount of dirt in the cup when finished. I really appreciate the “headlights” which help you see what you are doing and where you might have missed. This feature is rare in lower cost vacuums. This vacuum’s small size allows it to get into spots that most vacuums can’t, plus its light weight permits easy maneuvering. The vacuum also offers a feature that I have never had, but definitely like, is the ability to easily reduce suction. And I like the vacuum’s color! The only complaint that I have to date is the cord’s location and length. I wish the cord was a little longer, and its location on the right side of the vacuum is a bit awkward. However, I am getting used to those little issues, and appreciate this vacuum for all that it offers, and for a relatively small price. My hope is that it lasts a long, long time!
