Intro
The BISSELL pet vacuum described in the listing is a lightweight, maneuverable floor cleaner designed specifically for homes with pets. It focuses on gathering loose pet hair and debris without scattering it across hard floors, and it includes a quick-release wand for above-floor cleanup.
If you want a simple-to-use tool for everyday pet hair pickup that’s easy to steer around furniture and grab for quick touch-ups, this model aims to deliver that. Quick verdict: a practical, easy-to-handle option for busy pet owners who need fast, frequent cleaning rather than deep, professional-level restoration.
What’s in the Box
- Main vacuum unit (Not specified)
- TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll
- Quick Release Extension Wand
- Scatter-Free Technology (feature, built into the unit)
- Documentation and warranty info (Not specified)
- Additional accessories (Not specified)
Note: The listing does not provide a full parts breakdown; where a component isn’t explicitly listed above, it is marked “Not specified.”
Design & Build
The listing emphasizes a lightweight design and swivel steering. Those two elements suggest a model built for easy maneuverability: you can guide it around chair legs, under low furniture, and make quick direction changes without wrestling with a heavy body. For day-to-day cleaning, a lighter machine reduces fatigue during longer sessions and makes short, frequent pickups more likely.
Materials and exact dimensions or weight are not specified in the listing, so there’s no manufacturer-stated figure to quote here. The brush system is named (TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll), and Scatter-Free Technology is called out as a built-in function focused on minimizing debris scatter on hard floors. The quick release extension wand implies a simple connection system for switching from floor to above-floor tasks, but how the wand locks or stores is not detailed.
Ergonomics: based on the lightweight and swivel design claims, the unit should be reasonably simple to push and turn. The listing doesn’t specify handle shape, grip materials, or balance points, so assess these in person if possible.
Key Features
Scatter-Free Technology — keeps hard-floor messes contained
Scatter-Free Technology is designed to reduce the tendency of loose debris (including pet food, litter, and hair clumps) to scatter when you vacuum hard surfaces. In real life this matters for quick cleanups: scoop up a spill under the kitchen counter or around a pet feeding area without chasing bits across the room. For owners who clean frequently and want less time sweeping up after vacuuming, this is a practical convenience.
TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll — multiple cleaning motions in one pass
The TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll combines different brush actions to agitate carpet fibers, gather embedded hair, and sweep surface dirt from hard floors. For homes with both area rugs and hard floors, this kind of brush aims to deliver balanced pickup without swapping heads. Expect better hair pickup on short- and medium-pile rugs and more efficient surface cleaning on sealed floors.
Quick Release Extension Wand — ready for above-floor tasks
The Quick Release Extension Wand lets you switch to above-floor cleaning quickly, and the listing notes it’s “always on so it’s always ready to clean on and above the floors.” Practically, that means no searching for a separate handheld unit when pet hair accumulates on furniture, stairs, or drapes — you should be able to grab the wand and get to work immediately. This is valuable for spot-cleaning couches after a shedding session or running the wand along baseboards and upholstery.
Swivel Steering & Lightweight Design — better maneuverability, less effort
Swivel steering improves the vacuum’s ability to navigate around table and chair legs, and a lightweight chassis reduces strain when moving the unit between rooms or up and down stairs. For apartment dwellers, seniors, or anyone who prefers fast, short cleaning sessions rather than long vacuuming marathons, these design choices support usability.
BISSELL Pet Foundation Support — buy that gives back
Every purchase supports the BISSELL Pet Foundation and its efforts to help save homeless pets. If socially conscious shopping matters to you, this model offers the intangible benefit of contributing to animal welfare through your purchase.
Performance & Use
Real-world performance depends on home layout, floor types, and how often you vacuum. The features listed — Scatter-Free Technology and the TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll — are aimed at everyday pet-related messes: loose hair on hard floors, hair and dander on area rugs, and small dry spills like kibble.
Setup and initial use
- The listing doesn’t include step-by-step assembly instructions; typically, you’ll attach the brush roll and snap the wand into place, then consult the user manual for any filter or maintenance steps. If you purchase, check that all listed parts are present (brush roll, wand, unit) before first use.
Maintenance tips
- Clear hair build-up from the brush roll after heavy shedding periods to maintain performance.
- If your model has filters, follow the manufacturer’s guidance for washing or replacing them (listing: Not specified).
- Empty or change the dirt collection container according to the user manual to keep suction consistent.
Practical cleaning tips
- For pet hair on upholstery or stairs, use the quick-release wand and move slowly to let the brush lift hair effectively.
- On hard floors where scatter is common, run the vacuum along the mess from the edge inward — Scatter-Free Technology should reduce scatter, but slow, controlled passes help.
- For high-traffic rug areas, make a couple of slower passes to let the TRIPLE ACTION Brush Roll dig into fibers.
What to expect
- The unit is positioned as an efficient tool for routine pet-maintenance cleaning rather than a heavy-duty, whole-house deep cleaner. If you want a quick, frequent solution for visible hair and light debris, this is the use case it targets.

Who Shouldn’t Buy
- Buyers who require full technical transparency before purchase: the listing omits many specific specs such as weight, power source, runtime, or dustbin capacity.
- Homes with very deep-pile carpeting or large square footage where a high-powered upright or canister might be more efficient; the listing targets routine pet-related cleanup rather than heavy-duty restoration.
- Shoppers who need a broad set of specialized attachments included out of the box — the listing only confirms the wand and brush roll.

Things to know:
Setup: Easy
It comes in about five pieces, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. You could honestly put it together without it, if you wanted too.
Weight: Medium
It is about 15 lbs. not light by any means, but not the heaviest vacuum either. It definitely feels like a quality piece. It is overall easy to maneuver considering its weight.
Maneuverability: Easy
It steers really nicely, and pushed easily on several types of floors. Have tried it on carpet, rugs, hardwood floors and tile. There is an adjustment for different floor types if you need it, I was able to keep it on the middle setting for all of these. I do with the cord was slightly longer I did have to pull it into a few different outlets throughout my house to get into every room, I love the sled retractable feature though.
Suction: Strong
It picked up my hair with ease, we do not have pets but I assume it would work well for that also, it picked up things the size of quarters, and as small as sand. Overall very happy with it.

This was the 2nd vacuum I purchased on amazon because the first was so bad I returned it. This one is much better.
Pros: The brush and suction are great at picking up dog hair. I really like the auto-cord retraction, even though it wasn’t a feature I was looking for. I also like the adjusment dial for carpet height. We have some very short carpets as well as some longer furry rugs, so this feature was essential. It works well on both with the proper adjustment. Easy canister emptying. It has a slightly wider track width than some of the others, so that is nice too.
There are two things that could use improvement:
1. The area where the belt sits is covered by a piece of plastic, probably to keep hair away from the belt. Unfortunely, dog hair still gets in there, and can burn on the belt, causing a smoking smell. Yikes! To get into that chamber you have to take out like 6 screws, so it’s not a quick little operation.
2. The brush does not stop spinning when you are using the hose/wand. That is just silly, but could also cause problems.
Overall I’m reasonable happy with the vacuum for the price point, as I wasn’t willing to get into the next higher price range machines, and it’s substantially better than the lower priced ones I looked at. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Easy to assemble and use. Worked great on my hardwood and carpets. Love the power and the flexible swivel movement. The only thing that didn’t hit the mark was that once you have pulled the cord out you can’t lock it at the desired length, it will slowly retract back into the wind up compartment. So I have to keep re-pulling it or hold the end right while I vacuum.

I had to replace my last vacuum unexpectedly. I had the same brand, different model, still pet hair features – so I clearly like the performance of this brand of vacuum. Its light weight but powerfully, and very easy to maneuver. I like the attachments it comes with, and they are stored conveniently on the sides. I love the clear bagless canister! The handle is actually the wand extension, pretty cool. It has a retractable cord, im on the fence about that feature; when I was a kid, any vacuum with those often quit working. BUT this cord has clear indicators on how far to extend the cord without going too far and preventing feature from working. Time will tell, for now it’s getting 5 stars!

this vacuum works so freaking well. i was going to get dyson never tried their brand before but im so glad i didn’t spend like $500 on a vacuum. i have 5 animals in my house and it literally pulled all the hair out of my rug AND old carpet powder!!!!
the wand release is great and the attachment it comes with works SO FREAKING GOOD.
It’s built with all these neat little things for convenience (has built in holders for all attachments, auto cord retrieval, places to keep the hose so it stay out of your way, want has an extension built in on the end so you don’t lose the piece)
i love things that make cleaning easier so i don’t dread to clean. The suction power is so good too!!! i’m not getting paid to write this I just am so picky about buying online. I rely on reviews heavy. This is well worth the money!!! light weight great size best vacuum.

Best bagless vacuum I have had, very good on dirt and pet hair. Good on short pile carpets but high setting is still a low one and will not be good for higher pile carpets. Strong suction and roller bar. Will not be the best on stairs because a little on the heavy side. Easy to clean, auto cord return and roller brush clear view are awesome.

This was the second vacuum I bought on Amazon after returning the first one — this model is much better.
Pros: The brush roll and suction pick up dog hair really well. I also like the automatic cord retraction (not something I was looking for, but a nice bonus) and the carpet-height adjustment dial. We have very short carpets and longer, furry rugs, and the adjustment lets it work well on both. Canister emptying is easy, and the slightly wider cleaning path is convenient.
Two issues worth noting:
Overall I’m pretty happy with this vacuum for the price — it’s a good step up from the cheaper models I looked at and I didn’t want to move into a much pricier range. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could.

We owned a Bissell for years and upgraded to this model — what a difference. It glides effortlessly, is easy to push and pull, and cleans exceptionally well on both carpet and hard floors. The swivel steering makes maneuvering a breeze, the cord rewind works smoothly, and overall it’s a huge improvement over our old machine.
Guitar playr –
I used it once and it worked well—until the cord started retracting slowly, then suddenly would retract quickly and won’t stay out. I spent an hour with Bissell chat support; all I wanted was a like-for-like replacement, but they told me to return it and order a new one. Update: they offered a $27 credit, which I accepted. I’m currently using a clip to keep the cord from retracting. Now I’m seeing how much dog hair my old Hoover left behind — when I bought that I was impressed how much cat hair it picked up, lol.

I recently had my $300-$350 vacuum cleaner give out on me. Vacuumed the carpeted portion of my house daily as well as any rugs on the hardwood. After only one use of THIS vacuum cleaner, that was significantly cheaper than my previous one, it pulled out an astonishing amount of dirt, hair, and dust. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone. It’s also extremely light and can be picked up with 1 finger by me. Very easy to use and clean. 10/10 would buy again.
Racetalker1320 –
I’m usually nervous about buying appliances online, but this is the best vacuum I’ve purchased in decades. The swivel feature and removable handle make it easy to clean crevices, it’s an excellent price, and a must-have for pet owners—I have two cats and a dog.
MiMiBear –
I’m very pleased with this vacuum — powerful suction, easy to clean and maneuver, and the retractable cord is a major improvement over my last model.
Cortney –
I don’t usually write reviews, but this vacuum deserved one. I used a Shark for the last seven years and loved it, but it was past its prime and I waited way too long to replace it.
I run a dog boarding business from home, have a black lab, and I’m allergic to most dogs. That means any vacuum that leaves behind even a trace of hair, dust, or dander is a dealbreaker. This Bissell changed the game. The suction is unreal — I went from rug to rug and watched it pull up so much that my old vacuum had clearly missed. I was emptying the canister between areas, not because my house is filthy, but because this thing digs deep. It’s humbling to see what your “clean” carpets were hiding.
What I love:
Minor downsides: no front LED lights to highlight hidden dust, and the chamber isn’t detachable, which is a bit inconvenient. Neither is enough to change my recommendation.
Bottom line: 10/10. If you have pets (especially multiple), get it — you’ll probably be calling your friends to brag too. Photo is before, video is after being cleaned.
Sandra Hernandez –
Great vacuum! Easy to put together and has good suction. I love the retractable cord. Very nice!
Cortney –
After researching vacuum cleaners, this is the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s easy to maneuver, removing the tank for cleaning is a breeze, and the swivel head is a great bonus. It’s a bit heavy to carry up and down stairs, but otherwise I highly recommend it.
Angel follower –
I’ve owned a Shark Pet Lift-Away for years and, with a goldendoodle and three cats, I thought it was doing a decent job—how wrong I was. I bought the Bissell Cleanview Swivel Rewind Pet Reach yesterday. I had vacuumed and steam-cleaned my area rugs the day before, but as soon as I assembled the Bissell (took maybe 30 seconds) and ran it over the whole house, I was both horrified and thrilled at what it pulled out of supposedly clean rugs. This morning I went over everything again more slowly, almost like using a steam cleaner. It didn’t pick up much fur, but the dirt it removed was astonishing. If anyone thinks this vacuum lacks suction, they probably have the height setting wrong—this thing works incredibly well. I’m giving it four stars only because the attachments popped off almost immediately, so I’ll store them elsewhere. The retractable cord is great—just wish it were a bit longer. Other than that, this machine is amazing.
