Who it’s for: people who want a bagged, corded unit that prioritizes filtration and comes ready to tackle carpets, area rugs, hard floors, upholstery and tight crevices. Design & build
The listing describes a compact, lightweight vacuum cleaner but does not list exact dimensions or weight. The design emphasizes practicality: a bagged canister/upright layout (exact configuration not specified), a telescopic wand for adjustable reach, and onboard storage so tools are kept with the machine rather than loose in a closet. Materials and finish are not specified, so there’s no manufacturer-stated information on plastics, metal parts, or durability testing.
Ergonomics are built around user convenience. The telescopic wand helps users of different heights and lets you reach ceilings or under furniture with less bending. On-board tool storage reduces trips back to a drawer. The adjustable-height setting for the cleaning head is intended to make transitions between hard floors and multiple carpet pile heights smoother. Because this is a corded model, you won’t be carrying battery weight, but you will manage a 30 ft cord while cleaning.
Key Features
Certified HEPA filter and HEPA bag — filtration designed for allergy sufferers
Benefit: The vacuum comes with both a HEPA media filter and HEPA bags that the manufacturer says filter 99.97% of dirt, pollen, dust, and dander particles 0.3 microns or larger (source: listing, checked 2025). For allergy-prone households, that level of filtration helps reduce the amount of fine particulate that gets reintroduced to the air while you vacuum.
Where it helps in real life: If someone in your home has seasonal allergies or pet dander sensitivity, a sealed bag system plus a HEPA media filter reduces the risk of dust escaping during disposal or while the vacuum runs. It’s particularly useful when vacuuming bedrooms, couches, and other areas where allergy triggers accumulate.
Powerful suction for accessories — get cleaning beyond the floor
Benefit: The listing emphasizes “powerful suction for accessories,” meaning the crevice tool, upholstery tool and dusting brush are intended to perform well when attached. Even without exact wattage or air watts specified, having strong accessory suction is useful for removing embedded dirt from cushions, car interiors, and stairs.
Where it helps in real life: Use the upholstery tool to deep-clean pet hair from sofas, the crevice tool to extract dust from baseboards and tight corners, and the dusting brush for blinds and lampshades.
Multi-surface cleaning with adjustable height
Benefit: The vacuum offers an adjustable-height setting so you can move between area rugs, low- to high-pile carpeting, and hard floors such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile and bamboo without changing tools.
Where it helps in real life: You won’t need separate machines for the living room rug and the kitchen floor — a single pass should work better because the head height can be adapted to the surface, improving contact and pickup.
Extra-long 30 ft cord — extended reach without swapping outlets
Benefit: A 30-foot cord reduces the number of outlet changes required during a cleaning session (source: listing, checked 2025). For most rooms you can clean an entire living room or a couple of adjacent rooms from one plug.
Where it helps in real life: In older houses with limited outlet placement, or when vacuuming larger open-plan spaces, the longer cord keeps you cleaning without stopping to reconnect — a clear convenience for routine tidying.
On-board tool storage — everything stays together
Benefit: All accessories store on-board so you don’t lose crevice tools or brushes in closets or drawers. Storing the telescopic wand with the machine also keeps assembly fast and straightforward.
Where it helps in real life: Quick, small tasks — like cleaning a spilled cereal bowl or removing crumbs from car seats — are easier when the right tool is attached and ready instead of hunted down.
Corded design — consistent suction without charging downtime
Benefit: Being corded means the vacuum runs at consistent power without battery fade and there’s no wait for recharging (source: listing, checked 2025).
Where it helps in real life: For deep cleans or multi-room jobs, continuous full-power operation is preferable to cordless models that might need mid-clean recharges.
Performance & Use
Setup and first use
- Unbox and attach the telescopic wand and desired accessory. If a HEPA bag is not pre-installed, insert the supplied HEPA bag into the dust compartment following the machine’s instructions (specific installation steps are not specified).
- Extend or retract the telescopic wand to a comfortable length before starting so you don’t need to repeatedly adjust it mid-clean.
Practical tips for best results
- Use the adjustable-height setting to match the pile of carpet or type of hard floor for improved pickup. Start with a higher setting for thick carpet and lower once you’re on hardwood.
- For pet hair: use the upholstery tool and make slow, overlapping passes on sofas and pet beds. The combination of a sealed HEPA bag plus the HEPA media filter helps trap dander more effectively than open-canister units.
- For crevices and baseboards: attach the crevice tool and go slowly so the suction can pull dust out of gaps and corners.
- For delicate surfaces like lampshades or computer keyboards, use the dusting brush to minimize abrasion.
Maintenance
- Bags: This is a bagged model; replace the HEPA bag when it’s full or when suction noticeably drops. Exact replacement frequency is not specified and depends on usage and household conditions.
- Filters: The listing includes a HEPA media filter. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for cleaning or replacement — if none is provided, check the filter monthly during heavy use and replace when visibly soiled or when performance declines.
- Storage: Use the on-board storage to keep tools together and prevent loss. Coil the cord neatly to avoid kinks.
- Repairs and parts: The listing does not specify belt type, motor serviceability, or spare parts availability. If these are important to you, check with the seller before purchase.
Noise and power
- The listing does not provide the vacuum’s decibel level, motor wattage, or other technical performance metrics. Expect typical corded vacuum noise levels, but exact figures are not listed.
Safety
- Because the vacuum uses a cord, be mindful of trip hazards and avoid running over the cord. The cord length reduces outlet changes but doesn’t eliminate cord management.

- Buyers who appreciate tool-on-board convenience (telescopic wand, crevice, upholstery and dusting tools) for above-floor cleaning.
- Users who need longer reach from a single outlet (30 ft cord) for open-plan areas or rooms with few outlets.
Who shouldn’t buy
- Those who want a lightweight specification sheet (weight/dimensions) before purchase — the listing doesn’t provide these numbers.
- Buyers who demand numerical performance metrics (air watts, motor horsepower, noise dB) for side-by-side technical comparisons.
- People who prefer bagless designs or who want specific part/warranty details up front (these items aren’t specified).
- Shoppers needing cordless portability — this is a corded model and not suitable if you need battery-powered mobility.

This is my second purchase of this vacuum……this one for a second residence. Is the vacuum fabulous; probably not, but very adequate for what I need. It is light weight, has good suction and rolls very easily. I have a Dyson stick vacuum for the wood and ceramic floors since the rollers do not stop on this vacuum. It is easy to operate and adjust the height. I like the attachments…there aren’t many and I don’t need many. I find that some vacuums come with too many attachments and they are never used. This Simplicity also comes with a long cord. The price is right also.

Wish there was a plain design option, but it works beautifully. I saw a video of a guy who specializes in vacuum cleaner repair mention this specific one for a nice, simple, mid range option. Everything is replaceable. I expect it to last me for years and years.

When my 15 year old Miele upright gave up the ghost and I found Miele no longer made uprights I was devastated. The Simplicity upright has many of the same features as the Miele so I ordered.
The pros- great suction that revived the nap on carpeting. Adjustable cleaning wand and 2 on board tools. Adjustable height or auto adjustment. Light weight (15lbs I believe). Small foot print for easy use in tight spaces and between chair legs. Nice edge system to get close to walls/baseboards. Hepa filters.
Cleans well.
Cons- loud! If you have hardwood/tile floors, curtains or use for dusting you need to purchase a separate 1 1/4 brushes (universal attachment kits are great). The carpet rotator brush does not stop when you use the cleaning wand. So be aware of cord and toe location. The cord is a bit short for larger homes, much plugging and unplugging. No suction selection. So same suction whether vacuuming carpet or drapes. So far not an issue.
Overall I’d give the vacuum 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 as it is worth the money and does a nice job.

Had for over a year, it’s been great! Lots of power, and made in the USA. Well made.

We bought this vacuum not knowing much about the brand but the features described on line fit what we were looking for. We’ve had this vacuum for a couple months now and I really like it. When I was shopping for one, my wife said “whatever, just get what you want”….. I bought it mostly for the height adjustment feature. We have one really plush carpet which made pushing the old vacuum cleaner really difficult; like a lot of work difficult. I didn’t know much about this brand but for the price, I figured I’d give it a try. This vacuum cleaner is actually pretty nice. It’s light weight for an upright and cleans just fine. I love the adjustable height for the different rugs/carpet we have to clean. The on-board attachments are ok, not great but adequate. This is a little bit like an old-school vacuum… pretty basic but does a really good job. Perfect for me. I found pretty inexpensive bags on line; the bags are smaller than our old unit so may have to be replaced more often. But I really like this vacuum; it’s simple, adjustable, lightweight and cleans just fine for us.

This vacuum worked well for almost six months and then then beater bar locked up completely. It seems the design doesn’t allow you to clean the beater bar. Took it to a repair shop and the bar is completely locked up. A replacement is 100 dollars plus replacement of the belt it damaged. I have two options which was spend 120 dollars every six months with pets or buy another vacuum. If you have pets avoid this poorly designed vacuum. I had never seen a beater bar that couldn’t be cleaned. It should come with a warning not recommended with long haired pets.

After quite a bit of online research, I chose the Simplicity for its well-thought out design and useful features. I live in a one-floor apartment and wanted a vacuume that was easy to operate, maneuver, and store. I looked at higher-end vacuumed (Miele, et al) but quickly decided that a canister model would be a pain to use and store as I have limited space. The Simplicity has built-in tools that are easy to access and use. The cord is extra long (30′) and can reach my entire space without stopping to unplug/replug. The headlight is focused and powerful, and the exterior has rubber “bumpers” in all the right places to help protect furniture legs. The overall construction is very study with the use of aluminum in key components. The filters (Hepa as well!) are easy to access and change. Overall the use of the Simplicity is simple, logical and makes my weekly vacuuming chore a fun and satisfying experience. One minor negative: It’s not too noisy, but it’s definitely not quiet. This is a very small complaint that is shadowed by the 98% “very satisfied” score I give this vacuume. I believe the Simplicity will be with me for a long time.

My wife loves this sweeper! I’ve used it a couple times and it has strong suction and gets carpets clean.
