Design & Build

Materials: Not specified.
Weight & dimensions: Not specified.

What we can confirm from the listing is that the design is a bagged upright with a 12-inch cleaning path and a long-life 7A motor. The inclusion of a Vibra Groomer II and a brush roll indicates a machine intended for active agitation of carpets and rugs, while a 6-position height adjustment makes it adaptable across short- to medium-pile surfaces.

Ergonomics are implied rather than stated: an upright form factor typically offers a tall handle for easy push-pull use and a single, compact cleaning head for maneuvering in tighter spaces. The generous 50-foot cord reduces the need to change outlets often on larger areas, making it convenient for commercial runs or multi-room home cleaning.

Key Features

7A Long-Life Motor (approx. 2,000-hour life)

Benefit: Durability and lower total cost of ownership.
Where it helps: If you run the machine daily—commercial cleaning, light janitorial work, or heavy household duty—the long-rated motor life reduces the frequency of motor replacements and downtime. The listing specifies a 2,000-hour motor life and a 7A motor rating (source: listing, checked 2025).

12″ Cleaning Path

Benefit: Compact footprint for narrower aisles and frequent, controlled passes.
Where it helps: The 12-inch cleaning width is ideal for tight workspaces such as office corridors, small retail aisles, stair tops, and homes with narrow rooms. It sacrifices throughput per pass compared with wider machines but improves maneuverability and access under furniture.

50′ Power Cord

Benefit: Extended reach without swapping outlets; increases productivity.
Where it helps: For multi-room or larger open-floor jobs, a 50-foot cord allows you to clean many areas from a single outlet. That long cord is especially useful in older buildings or workshops where floor outlets are sparse (source: listing, checked 2025).

Vibra Groomer II + Brush Roll

Benefit: Improved agitation for deeper dirt lift from carpet fibers.
Where it helps: The Vibra Groomer II system indicates powered agitation (often vibrating or oscillating) paired with a brush roll—useful on low- to medium-pile carpets to loosen embedded dust and hair before suction. It’s beneficial for periodic deep cleaning in office or home settings where light-to-moderate soiling accumulates.

6-Position Height Adjustment

Benefit: Versatility across carpets and some hard floors.
Where it helps: Height settings let you dial in the brush-to-fiber relationship for better pickup on short, medium or slightly longer piles. That flexibility is helpful when you have mixed floor types—area rugs, short-pile carpet, and low-pile office carpet.

Bagged System & Replaceable Accessories

Benefit: Hygienic dust capture and easy serviceability.
Where it helps: The shake out bag assembly and dedicated replacement parts (synthetic bags part #63213a and belt #52100b) point toward a product designed for routine maintenance rather than disposable convenience. Bagged systems can reduce airborne dust during disposal compared with some bagless designs.

Where to buy

Performance & Use

Practical setup

  • Unpack the unit and confirm the shake out bag assembly is installed correctly before first use. The listing indicates a bag-style dust capture system—if unsure, consult the included documentation or the parts list for correct placement.
  • Plug into a grounded outlet within reach of the 50′ cord. Keep the cord behind you while cleaning to avoid running over it.

Daily use tips

  • Start with the height adjustment that allows the brush roll to contact the carpet without causing excessive resistance. If pulling feels heavy, raise the height one setting.
  • Use the Vibra Groomer II setting (if switchable) on carpeted areas for best agitation. For very delicate rugs, test a small area first.
  • Replace bags and belts as part of routine maintenance to keep suction consistent. The listing references synthetic bag part #63213a and belt #52100b for replacements (source: listing, checked 2025).

Maintenance

  • Empty or replace the bag before it becomes overfull to maintain airflow and prevent motor strain. The “shake out bag assembly” suggests a design where dust can be shaken out or replaced; follow the manufacturer guidance for best results.
  • Inspect the brush roll regularly for hair and string tangles and clean as needed to preserve brush performance.
  • Monitor belt condition; replace with the listed belt part number when you notice slipping, reduced brush spin, or visible wear.

Noise and vibration

  • Not specified. Typical upright vacuums with a motorized brush roll and Vibra Groomer-style agitation run at moderate to high noise levels; use hearing considerations as needed in noise-sensitive environments.

Best use cases

  • Regular cleaning schedules in small commercial spaces, breakout areas, or offices.
  • Homeowners who prefer a bagged solution and want a serviceable machine that emphasizes durability.
  • Situations where long cord reach and replaceable parts are prioritized.

What this model is not

  • If you need a wide-coverage high-speed floor cleaner for large facilities, the 12″ path will require more passes and time.
  • If lightweight portability for stair-by-stair cleaning is your primary need, weight is not specified and the upright form may be less handy than canister or stick models.

Pros vs Cons

Pros Cons
Long-life 7A motor rated for ~2,000 hours—built for heavy use (source: listing, checked 2025). 12″ cleaning path is narrower than many commercial uprights, meaning slower coverage of large areas.
50′ cord reduces outlet changes and speeds up multi-room cleaning (source: listing, checked 2025). Materials, weight and exact dimensions are not specified in the listing—hard to assess portability.
Vibra Groomer II and brush roll provide stronger agitation for carpet cleaning. No noise, HEPA filtration, or filtration efficiency ratings listed—limited information on allergen control.
Bagged system with replaceable synthetic bags and accessible belt part numbers for easy servicing. Some shoppers prefer bagless convenience; the listing indicates a bag assembly which requires replacement/maintenance.
Six-position height adjustment makes it adaptable across carpet piles. Lacking explicit warranties or service intervals in the listing; buyers may need to confirm coverage separately.
Replaceable belts and parts listed (part numbers provided), simplifying repairs. Limited specification detail—many material and ergonomic details are “Not specified.”

Who Should Buy

  • Small business owners, office managers, or custodial staff who need a robust, serviceable upright for frequent use.
  • Home users who prefer bagged systems for cleaner dust disposal and those who plan to maintain the machine (replace bags, belts).
  • Users who prioritize runtime between motor failures—this unit cites a long-life 2,000-hour motor and a 7A rating (source: listing, checked 2025).

Who Shouldn’t Buy

  • Large facilities where cleaning speed is paramount; the narrow 12″ path will require more time to cover wide areas.
  • Buyers who need specified filtration performance (HEPA ratings) for allergy sufferers—filtration details are not listed.
  • Users who demand a lightweight, ultra-portable vacuum for frequent stair or high-reach cleaning and prefer explicit weight and dimension data—those specifications are not provided.

Final Thoughts & Short Buying Tip

This upright vacuum is a pragmatic option if you value durability, serviceability, and a practical feature set for regular carpet care. Its long-life motor, replaceable parts, and extended cord length make it well-suited to routine cleaning in small commercial settings or conscientious home users who perform regular maintenance.

If you need fast coverage of very large areas, documented filtration performance for allergy control, or detailed portability specs, confirm those specifics with the seller before purchase—those items are not listed.

If this model fits your priorities, check current availability and replacement-part support before buying to ensure long-term serviceability.

CTA: If you want reliability and straightforward serviceability in an upright vacuum, this one is worth a closer look—compare part availability and replacement bag pricing before deciding.

The belt broke first time within about a minute and had to replace it and then the power (on/off button) broke off. A piece of crap.

Great buy. We use it for our MFG warehouse and this works great in the high traffic carpet area. It does what it needs to do perfectly.

Very similar in apperance and operation as my old Eurika upright that finally died after 45+ years of operation. Very good suction but a little noisy and a bit heavy but otherwise satisfied. This model has the dump-out bag but I would prefer the model with the replaceable bags.

I won’t buy another vacuum — after trying many for my office building, this one outperforms them all. It works on a variety of floors, cleaning our low-pile carpet and vinyl beautifully, and it’s lightweight and easy to use.

I would never want to buy another vacuum again. I tried many vacuums for my office building but none worked as well as this one. I am able to use this vacuum on many different types of floors. Works great on our low carpet and vinyl floors. It’s lightweight and easy to use.

I’ve owned a cleaning business for over 25 years and have used Sanitaire upright vacuums for many years. I recently ordered two “like new” vacuums to replace old ones, but the first I received is not like new and has the wrong model number. I’m very disappointed and hope the second one isn’t the same, since I need three more and don’t want them to arrive like this.

Bought this to replace my 25-year-old Santaire (same model). This machine is fantastic—powerful suction and the extra-long cord is a real time-saver.

The item arrived without the bag. It would be helpful if the missing part could be sent separately instead of requiring a full return.

I’ve used these vacuums for years to clean our church. The photos in the listing didn’t match what I received — I would have gladly paid an extra $50 for the model I wanted. The quick-access fan replacement design is what makes this the best vacuum for our needs, but all three units I received required removing the top and motor to reach the fan.
