Introduction

The G8000 Max is a mid-priced robot vacuum that combines high suction power with a wet-mop function, designed for everyday household cleaning. It promises strong debris pickup on hard floors and short-to-medium pile carpets, plus a compact, slim profile that reaches under low furniture.

This review breaks down what the G8000 Max actually delivers, who will benefit most, and where it might fall short—so you can decide quickly whether it fits your home. Quick verdict: a capable, straightforward robot vacuum and mop combo that’s best for small-to-medium homes and pet owners who want easy, hands-off cleaning.

What’s in the Box

  • Not specified (manufacturer/package contents are not listed in the provided information)

Design & Build

The G8000 Max arrives with a notably low profile—just 2.99 inches tall—so physically it’s built for getting under beds, sofas, and low cabinets that many taller robots miss. That ultra-slim height is the main design advantage: expect better access to dust traps beneath furniture without manual moving.

Materials aren’t detailed in the listing, but the unit follows the typical plastic chassis common to most robot vacuums. The layout appears to include a top-mounted control button(s), a bumper with anti-collision sensors, and visible side brushes for edge work. The combination dustbin and water tank are internal components rather than external add-ons, which keeps the silhouette compact.

Implications of size/weight: because exact weight isn’t listed, you should assume it’s light enough to handle typical home use—easy to lift onto charging base or stairs—but also stable enough to cross small thresholds thanks to larger wheels mentioned in the spec. The low height helps with reach, but it may limit obstacle-climbing clearance compared with taller models that have bigger clearance for high-pile carpet edges.

Ergonomics: controls can be accessed via on-device buttons, a remote, a mobile app, or voice commands—multiple control paths make operation simpler for seniors, people who prefer hands-off tech, and families.

Key Features

5000Pa Strong Suction

Benefit: With a peak suction rating of 5000Pa, the G8000 Max is designed to pull up pet hair, crumbs, and dust from hard floors and shorter carpets. In real life, this shows up as fewer passes required to clean a kitchen or living area after a busy day—especially useful for households with shedding pets or kids. The high suction helps extract debris from crevices and along baseboards, making spot cleanups faster.

Vacuum and Mop Combo (450 ml dustbin + 300 ml water tank)

Benefit: The integrated 450 ml dustbin and 300 ml water tank let the robot vacuum and mop simultaneously, cutting down the time you spend running separate appliances or doing two passes. For everyday maintenance—light spills, tracked-in dirt, and sticky fingerprints on tile—this dual-action saves time and reduces the need for manual mopping. The manufacturer says this design can reduce cleaning time by roughly 50% compared with doing separate vacuum and mop passes (source: listing, checked 2025).

Where it helps: busy households, quick daily upkeep, and kitchens/bathrooms where dust and light sticky spots coexist.

Long Battery Life — Up to 150 Minutes

Benefit: The unit can run up to 150 minutes in quiet mode, which covers the daily cleaning needs of many small and medium homes on a single charge. Longer runtime reduces the need for frequent recharges mid-clean; if the battery does get low mid-cycle, the robot automatically returns to recharge and then resume, so long jobs aren’t permanently interrupted (source: listing, checked 2025).

Where it helps: multi-room cleaning sessions and multi-day maintenance schedules. Note: actual runtime depends on suction mode and floor type.

Four Control Methods & Four Cleaning Modes

Benefit: The G8000 Max supports App, Remote, Voice, and Button controls. That breadth makes it flexible for non-tech users (remote/buttons) and for those who prefer smart home integration (voice/app). It also offers four cleaning modes—Spot, Edge, Zig-zag, and Manual—so you can choose a focused clean under a pet feeding area, along baseboards, broad coverage with the zig-zag pattern, or direct the vacuum manually when you want precision.

Where it helps: households with mixed users (tech-savvy and not), or for targeted weekend deep cleans and daily maintenance.

Ultra-Slim Profile & Smart Sensors

Benefit: At 2.99 inches tall, the G8000 Max gets into low-clearance places where taller vacuums can’t. Built-in anti-collision and anti-fall sensors reduce bumping into furniture and prevent drops down stairs. In practice, that means fewer stuck episodes and less manual intervention to free the robot from tight spots.

Where it helps: homes with low furniture, lots of nooks under sofas/beds, and multi-level layouts where stair safety matters.

Adaptability Across Floor Types

Benefit: The manufacturer lists suitability for hard floors, tiles, carpets, and rugs, and notes the robot handles thresholds and transitions thanks to larger wheels. The robot’s traction and wheel height allow it to climb over modest thresholds—useful for homes with carpets, area rugs, or shifted door sills—so cleaning routines can run across rooms without frequent stops.

Where it helps: mixed-surface homes and apartments with transitions between tile, wood, and carpeted rooms.

Where to buy

Performance & Use

Setup

  • Unbox and place the charging base on a flat surface against a wall. Exact dock layout and included accessories are not specified in the listing, so plan to have a clear area for the dock.
  • If you want voice control, link the robot to your smart assistant via the app—app name isn’t listed in the provided info, so consult the included manual or seller listing for details.

Daily Use Tips

  • Use Zig-zag mode for full-room coverage; it’s the chosen pattern for maximum efficiency according to the product info.
  • For quick spot cleans (e.g., spills under a coffee table), use the Spot mode for a concentrated run.
  • Edge mode helps clear debris along baseboards and beneath cabinet edges where crumbs collect.

Maintenance

  • Empty the 450 ml dustbin after heavy use or daily in high-debris homes. For a calm, small household, every few days may suffice.
  • Refill the 300 ml water tank as needed for mop sessions—large open floorplans may require multiple refills if you mop continuously.
  • Clean brushes and sensors weekly to maintain navigation and suction performance. The manufacturer doesn’t list replacement intervals for filters or brushes—follow general robot vacuum care: inspect wear on side brushes and main brush and replace as they degrade.
  • Keep the charging contacts free of dust for reliable recharging.

Real-world expectations

  • Suction at 5000Pa should handle pet hair and typical household dust effectively, but deep-pile or high-shag carpeting (not listed as supported) may be less thoroughly cleaned than low/medium pile surfaces.
  • The mop function is geared to light maintenance and mopping spills; it is not a replacement for a heavy-duty, hands-on mop for dried stains or grout cleaning.

This was my first robot vacuum and it seemed like a great deal, but it isn’t very “smart” and struggled with my main floor. I moved it to the smaller downstairs area where it does an okay job. I bought a pricier model for the upstairs with LiDAR and a self-emptying bin, and that one has been worth the money—much smarter than this unit. If you have a small space, this is an inexpensive option that works fine; it’s a bit noisy but really picks up dirt and pet hair.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this robot vacuum impressed me. It leaves the floors very clean, the app is simple and intuitive, and it feels like an excellent price-to-quality option. The only downside is that it requires magnetic boundary tape to block off areas and the box contains only about half a meter; I recommend buying at least an extra 2 meters of tape with the robot.

The Tikom robot vacuum and mop has been a game-changer for our home. With two little kids, keeping the floors clean used to be a constant struggle, but this compact helper handles everything while I care for them. Its strong suction lifts crumbs, hair, and dust, and the mopping mode is perfect for cleaning sticky mealtime messes. It’s incredibly quiet—ideal for running during naps—and easily slips under cribs, couches, and other furniture while steering clear of toys and stairs. Great build quality, fast delivery, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

I recently bought the Tikom G800 Max and it’s completely changed my cleaning routine. As a pet owner with a hectic schedule, this robot vacuum is a lifesaver. Powerful cleaning — the brushes and strong suction lift pet hair, crumbs, and dirt with ease. Truly hands-free — it vacuums and mops in one pass so I hardly ever need to intervene. Great value — it delivers high-end performance without the high-end price. After a month of use, I can confidently say it’s the best robot vacuum I’ve owned. Worth every penny — highly recommend!

This robot is very quiet. Its design seems well thought out — it cleans all areas of a room, even large ones. The app is convenient and easy to use, though I haven’t been able to try all the features yet. Time will tell.

This robot vacuum and mop is powerful and dependable, tackling pet hair and dirt on both hard floors and carpets with ease. The app and remote make scheduling and customization simple, and it automatically returns to its charger when the battery is low — the run time is enough to clean multiple rooms in one session. The mopping is adequate for light maintenance, setup was straightforward, and navigation is generally intelligent. Overall, it’s an excellent value, especially for homes with pets and mixed flooring.

This is our first vacuum-and-mop robot. And honestly? It brings us a lot of joy!We seem to have been very lucky with this model. Delivery was fast, everything arrived in perfect condition, and setup was well explained and quick. After setting it up via the easy-to-install, user-friendly app, it now starts its job at the same time every day. It vacuums thoroughly wherever it can, exploring the four rooms on the floor with some mysterious internal algorithm, then cleans very carefully. It moves cautiously and is considerate of its surroundings. Its low profile lets it get under furniture easily. It confidently climbs over rug edges and increases suction on carpets. It sometimes tangles with fringes or cables — we’ve both learned from that (I rearranged a trailing plant and moved cables out of the way), and now it’s even more careful and rarely gets stuck. We rarely use the mopping function, but it’s adequate. The app’s map lets us track its path, and depending on the settings it’s not particularly loud. After just over an hour it beeps to signal low battery and returns to the charging dock. When sent out manually it can return in a rather disorganized way with big detours. Charging takes about half a day, which is our only complaint — it feels disproportionately long and should be faster. It remains a mystery how it manages to fill the dustbin to the brim every day even though it always works in the same place — maybe it deliberately leaves a little for the next day? How long will this enthusiasm last?We are VERY satisfied. The house is noticeably less dusty than when we only vacuumed manually once a week. From now on, we’ll always have a robot.

This robot vacuum and mop combo is excellent — smartly navigates my rooms and offers great value for the price. The suction is powerful, and I like that I can easily adjust the power with the remote. The mopping function works well and can vacuum and mop at the same time. Battery life meets my needs, and it reliably returns to the base to recharge when the battery is low. Switching between auto and manual modes is simple, and manual mode lets me concentrate cleaning on specific areas. The unit is very slim and easily fits under my low coffee table, so it keeps the rooms clean while I relax.

This little robot does an excellent job. In our 1,050 sq ft condo with laminate, tile, carpet, and an accent rug, it easily climbs from the laminate onto the rug without getting stuck. At first I thought it wasn’t reaching corners or baseboards, but after it finished the main cleaning it went around the perimeter, with the side brushes sweeping dust right into the corners. It’s also slim enough to fit under three cabinets that my older Roomba would get stuck under. I tried the mop on the kitchen today and had to set the water to the lowest level for the laminate — I didn’t think the floor was dirty until I took off the mop pad. The adjustable suction is great: I use the highest setting on the dense carpeting in the bedroom and den and it cleans wonderfully. For the price compared to Roomba and other brands, it’s a fantastic value. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a robot vacuum.

I live in a studio apartment and this robot vacuum is the perfect helper to keep my whole place spotless. I’ve tried other models, but this one is by far the smartest and most effective — the interface is simple to use and it navigates around obstacles with ease. It maps my space accurately, never gets stuck or lost, and reliably returns to the dock when finished. I can press one button before leaving for work and come home to a clean floor every time. The vacuum-and-mop combo does an excellent job, and the convenience and performance make it great value — I don’t see myself ever needing another vacuum or doing manual vacuuming again.

This robotic vacuum is noticeably quieter than my previous model. The mobile app is excellent — I can set different cleaning modes for each room depending on how dirty they are, which saves a lot of time. I also appreciate the thoughtful, efficient design of the combined dustbin and water tank: refilling the water naturally reminds me to empty the dustbin, and the tank is large enough to clean three bedrooms and a hallway in a single cycle. One suggestion for the manufacturer: a slightly longer black belt would help it clean larger rooms more effectively. Overall, this vacuum is highly effective and has made a real difference in my home—I’m very happy with the purchase.
