Intro
The Lefant M330 Pro is a compact lidar-equipped cleaning robot that combines mapped navigation, carpet-aware suction boosts, and a hybrid vacuum-and-mop design. It’s aimed at people who want smarter, more efficient floor maintenance without juggling separate devices for dry and wet cleaning.
In practice the M330 Pro focuses on reliable coverage: lidar-based dToF scanning for mapping, PSD sensors for millimeter-level obstacle detection, and carpet detection that switches behavior depending on whether you’re mopping or vacuuming. Quick verdict: for small-to-medium homes (including pet households) that need precise navigation and a slim profile, the Lefant M330 Pro is a well-rounded choice.

Design & Build
The M330 Pro’s most obvious hardware advantage is its low profile — a 95 mm height that helps it slip under low furniture and reach areas many robots miss (source: listing, checked 2025). The body houses a lidar (dToF) unit on top for long-range scanning and mapping; PSD (Position Sensitive Device) sensors around the chassis handle close-range detection and avoidance. Materials aren’t specifically called out in the listing, but the visible components (dustbin, mop pad, bumper) follow a familiar plastic-and-rubber construction common to mid-range robots.
Ergonomically the M330 Pro is geared toward easy daily use: a visible 450 ml dustbin lets you see when it needs emptying, and a removable 200 ml refillable water tank and washable mop pad simplify wet-cleaning maintenance (source: listing, checked 2025). The machine’s slim height is a practical design choice — it improves under-furniture reach and reduces the number of blind spots during routine cycles.
Key Features
dToF Navigation & Multi-Floor Mapping
What it does: The M330 Pro uses direct Time-of-Flight (dToF) lidar to scan up to 15 meters and build maps for route planning and multi-floor support (source: listing, checked 2025).Why it matters: Lidar-based mapping gives much more consistent coverage than random-path robots. For homes with multiple rooms or irregular layouts, dToF mapping reduces repeated passes and missed areas. If you want reliable pathing and repeatable room-by-room cleaning, this is where the M330 Pro stands out.
Precision Detection & Obstacle Avoidance (PSD)
What it does: PSD sensors detect obstacles with millimeter precision and can operate in low light, helping the robot avoid furniture legs, cords, and small items. Why it matters: Small obstacles and cables are common sources of collisions, stalls, and hair tangles. PSD’s finer detection lowers the chance of bumps or snags, which is especially useful in busy living rooms or child/pet environments where small objects can be on the floor.
Slim 95mm Profile
What it does: The robot is only 95 mm tall, enabling it to clean under low-clearance furniture. Why it matters: A thin chassis translates to better coverage under sofas, cabinets, and beds. If your home has a lot of low furniture that traditional vacuums can’t reach, the slim design yields noticeable benefits.
Carpet Detection & Auto Boost
What it does: The M330 Pro detects carpets and changes behavior depending on mode — it avoids carpets in mopping mode and increases suction to maximum when vacuuming on carpets. Why it matters: This two-pronged approach prevents carpets from getting damp during mopping cycles and delivers extra suction for deeper pile cleaning during vacuuming. For mixed-floor homes the automation removes manual intervention and reduces the risk of damp carpets after a mop cycle.
Vacuuming + Mopping Combo
What it does: A 450 ml visible dustbin supports dry debris pickup, while a 200 ml refillable water tank and washable mop pad enable wet cleaning. Why it matters: Combining both functions in one device saves space and simplifies routines. The washable pad and refillable tank are economical long-term — but note that the water tank is relatively small, which makes this better suited to targeted mop jobs or regular upkeep rather than whole-house, heavy mopping (source: listing, checked 2025).
Pet-Friendly Anti-Tangle Suction Port
What it does: The suction port is upgraded to reduce hair wrap and is intended to handle pet hair better. Why it matters: If you share your home with shedding pets, hair buildup and brush-roll tangles are the biggest maintenance headaches. A design that mitigates tangles will reduce the time you spend manually cutting hair off rollers or clearing clogs.
App Control & Voice Assistant Integration
What it does: The Lefant app allows scheduling, no-go zones, cleaning-mode selection (Quiet/Standard/Max), and connects via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi. The robot works with Google Assistant and Alexa for voice commands and supports iWatch (watch not included). Why it matters: Remote scheduling and zone control let you tailor routines to different days or rooms. Voice integration simplifies on-the-fly commands — handy when you’re already occupied with other tasks.
Customer Support & Warranty
What it does: Lefant offers 24/7 professional support (Monday to Friday) and a one-year warranty through Amazon contact channels. Why it matters: Accessible support and a warranty provide a safety net if you encounter issues during the first year of ownership.
Performance & Use
Setup
- Start by placing the charging dock against a wall with clear space around it per the app instructions (app required for mapping features).
- Connect to 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi — the listing references 2.4 GHz connectivity, so ensure your phone is on that band when pairing.
- Initiate a full mapping run on the main floor to allow the robot to create its initial map. Add no-go zones or room names through the app if you want room-specific scheduling.
Daily use tips
- Empty the visible 450 ml dustbin after a few heavy sessions or when the fill level reaches the indicator (source: listing, checked 2025).
- For mopping, top up the 200 ml water tank and attach the washable pad. Remember to empty the tank after mopping to avoid leaks or floor stains (manufacturer’s note: empty the water tank after mopping to prevent leaks and floor stains).
- Use the carpet detection feature to create separate vacuuming and mopping plans — put the robot in vacuuming mode for deeper carpet cleaning so it will auto-boost suction.
Maintenance
- Wash and air-dry the mop pad regularly to avoid odors and staining.
- Check and clear the suction inlet and side brushes (if present) for hair buildup; the anti-tangle port reduces but may not eliminate tangles entirely.
- Replace filters and wear parts per usual robotic vacuum maintenance schedules — specific replacement intervals were not provided in the listing.
Real-world performance expectations
- Mapping accuracy and obstacle avoidance are likely to be strong in homes with clear pathways and moderate clutter thanks to dToF lidar and PSD sensors. Expect fewer missed spots compared with non-mapping models.
- The 200 ml water tank is workable for surface mopping and light maintenance but will require refills in larger homes or longer mop cycles.
- The visible dustbin is convenient for quick checks but doesn’t replace the convenience of a self-empty station — the M330 Pro does not list an auto-empty base in the provided information.

We bought this on sale after our last robot vacuum/mop finally died, and we have no regrets. The mapping is excellent — you can clean specific areas and set no-go zones. We have a small step that trapped other robots, but this one stops exactly where we tell it to. With three cats it picks up hair very well and even detects carpets/rugs to avoid mopping them. The mop exceeded our expectations: it’s thorough and won’t move on until the area is clean. The only downside is the noise when it empties itself, though it isn’t a deal-breaker (we haven’t tested it at night yet). Battery life is great — it hasn’t dropped below 75% during a clean. Lots of useful features overall; if you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to buy it.

Tackar! –
If vacuums had a popularity contest, the Lefant Robot Vacuum would take the crown. Don’t be fooled by its compact size — this little unit is a serious performer. It zips around the house collecting pet hair, dust, and debris, and its low profile lets it slide under furniture like a pro. With Wi‑Fi, app control, and Alexa compatibility, it feels smarter than me (and definitely more eager to clean). I’ve been using it for a year with no problems, and it’s been consistently reliable.
Pros:
Cons:
Bottom line: small but mighty, the Lefant Robot Vacuum is ideal for anyone who wants a hands‑off way to keep floors tidy. Sit back and let it handle the work — your floors (and your back) will thank you.

I’m really pleased with this compact Lefant robot vacuum — it’s quiet and does a solid job picking up dust, crumbs, and everyday messes, even in corners and under furniture. The battery lasts long enough to clean an entire floor, and the mobile app makes scheduling effortless. It’s been reliable, convenient, and has made daily cleaning much easier.

I bought this on sale for half-price, but knowing how well it works I would happily pay full price. It’s the best of the four robot vacuums I’ve owned—two of the others stopped working, the third still runs but not as well. The standout feature for us is that its filter system doesn’t get clogged with dog hair.
Previous model problem: our old vacuum used a roller brush that wrapped long hair and lots of dog hair, and the narrow channel to the dust collector eventually became clogged.
Why I like the Lefant:
No comment on the mop function — I haven’t used it.
Cons:
Update (almost two months later): I love this vacuum even more. It wakes several times a day and methodically vacuums, then quietly returns to its base. This has turned out to be the best appliance purchase we’ve made.

I like this vacuum — it’s a very convenient solution for dealing with five cats and all their hair. I can’t give it five stars because the mop feature is mostly useless.
Pros:
Cons:
Overall, great for quiet, hands‑off vacuuming of pet hair and everyday dust, but don’t expect a real mopping performance.
