We borrowed our friends’ Roomba when we first started thinking of buying a robot vac. It was super loud and our cats freaked out. I chose this one based on the reviews of how quiet it is. First time using – our cats were curious and alert, but they just observed from the couch (as opposed to full-on hiding in the closet when we ran the Roomba). Now, two weeks later, they just sniff it and walk around it as it goes about its vacuuming business. Don’t get me wrong, you will definitely hear that it’s running, but it’s a lot quieter and more pleasant than when we borrowed the Roomba.
We have a 600 sq ft apartment, and it gets the whole place clean within its battery life. Our floors are all laminate. It picks up all the cat hair. It can easily get in and out of the smaller areas (galley kitchen, bathroom, other side of the bed that’s further away from the bedroom door). Long hair is not an issue in this household, but we find that for clumps of cat hair, we do need to clean them off the brush bristles as they get stuck there, rather than getting sucked up into the dust chamber. This is not a big deal, just a couple minutes of picking fur clumps off after 5+ runs. We mostly run this when we’re home, since we have to pick up all cat toys and food bowls before running it, anyway.
Where it gets stuck:
– Slightly different coloured floor due to shadows – it must have sensed a drop-off or obstacle, so it backed off. We have dark laminate flooring. On sunny days, or at night with even artificial light, it’s OK. On a cloudy day with weak sun coming in from the window, it misjudged the shadows on the floor.
– The legs of a rolling office chair.
– Desk legs. We have an IKEA Micke desk with the U-shaped metal legs. It can sometimes get one side over the leg, but can’t get off it. We placed a laundry hamper by the desk to prevent it from getting stuck there.
Very happy with this purchase! Hopefully it will perform just as well once the heavy fur shedding season is upon us.

I have a shark Robotvac that doesn’t have any mapping but cleans very well and sometimes does not make it back to the charging station which is in a hallway.
The eufy does everything advertised.
I mapped my rooms that I wanted and then
divided some because of the open floor and
created some no go zones which it recognizes and avoids those areas. I works very well.
I created 2 schedules for 3 rooms each because it does take it’s time to run it’s cleaning pattern or patterns if you select 2 passes.
I gave it set for 45 minutes to empty the bin for which it will resume cleaning and that works flawlessly. After it finishes all the roo.s in the schedule it has no problem finding it’s way home and doing a fi al bin emptying before charging.
I highly recommend this product as I paid only $199 for it.

My first robot vacuum so I have no point of reference, but I’m pretty impressed so far. Its mapping and obstacle detection capabilities are impressive and it’s neat to watch it figure its way around things that are in the way. Vacuuming on carpet and hardwood floors is pretty quiet and unobtrusive. It’s quieter than a normal vacuum would be doing the same work. It cleans in overlapping back and forth passes so it does a good job of getting the whole floor.
My only complaints are that it’s loud when driving over transitions on floors. There’s no suspension on the hard plastic caster so anytime it drives across a grout joint on tile, or over a hardwood floor transition it comes down hard and surprisingly loud. It’s fine one time driving between rooms, but when driving through my tiled entry way repeatedly hearing it crash down is annoying to listen to and concerning.
It can leave dust or crumbs on transitions between wood and carpet. Such as when climbing onto or off of a kitchen mat.
It has a tendency to eat cat toys, usually wrapping them around the brush and requiring you to remove the brush and unwind the toy. The brush is easily removed and cleared, but it does defeat the purpose of an autonomous vacuum somewhat if I still have to babysit it sometimes.
Lastly the self emptying process that it performs when it returns to its dock is much louder than its normal process and can catch you off guard if you’re not expecting it. It sounds like a large full powered vacuum but is over pretty quickly so it’s not bad.

Great seller, great vacuum. E (Eufy the Eliminater) came well packaged with everything I was expecting. The dogs (3 of them) have a healthy respect or fear of it, and give it space.
I did a ton of research before deciding on Eufy. I looked at roomba, ilife and a few others that were comparable.
Eufy was the only one that met my list of musts.

Wanted – a pattern clean, it doesn’t do that but it does a great job without it.
My husband who hates vacuums and the noise they make says it’s his new favourite family member. It’s quiet for a vacuum. Even on max mode its quieter than my canister vac. But don’t be fooled it has amazing suction. Ran him for the 1st time 1 day after me vacuuming and the dust he found….I was shocked.
I haven’t vacuumed in 5 days! So exciting.
The extra for the app model (version c) was definitely worth it. You can only set 1 scheduled time per day but with the app you can change the schedule on a whim. So 9am run, change schedule and send it out again for 4:30pm.
It runs on boost IQ mode for 1hour and 33minutes, takes around 6 hours to charge in between cleanings so when adding in a new time I kept in mind its run time and charge time. (Though the app tells me when its charged, charging, running and going home)
The dustbin is huge, 3 high shedding dogs and as long as it is emptied daily I have no concerns of it filling up.
The cleaning brush for the roller works amazing. All 3 brushes are easy to install, remove and clean.
2 of the filters are washable the 3rd (hepa) I just take outside and tap it to knock out the worst of the dust. It will probably need replacing in a few months but nothing horrible.
It has only gotten stuck once that it couldn’t get itself out of. We forgot to shut the bathroom door and it got in there and couldn’t make the 3/4 inch step out.
I said in the title I would show you under my couch so I’ve attached the picture. 3 dogs, 2 kids and nothing but E doing the vacuuming for 5 days. He ran about 2 hours prior to photo. Love this little guy.

Tengo una gata y un perro que tiran muchisimo pelo y siempre era un tema barrer 3 veces al día y aun así parecía que solo se removía el polvo y la pelusa….CON ESTO SE ACABó EL PROBLEMA. La aspiradora es muy fácil de usar y de ligar al teléfono y al internet de la casa, limpia perfectamente pelo, polvo y basurita pequeña ( la que es grande no la succiona) Cuando salgo de casa y se me olvida ponerla puedo activarla desde mi celular sin problema, la dejo aprox 1 hora y con eso es más que suficiente.
Hace poco ruido (muy tolerable) y se limpia sin problema ( tiene un compartimento donde almacena el polvo y basura y se vacía muy fácil).
Los sensores de caiga funcionan muy bien ( aunque no los he puesto TAN a prueba) no la he conectado a la Alexa pero la verdad con la aplicación del celular me es suficiente…incluso fuera de casa puedo activarla o detenerla.
De verdad esta compra vale cada centavo

I owned a Neato Botvac Connected since 2015 (the first Neato I had with LIDAR). After several replacements and about a year of issues it still worked really well for many years, but it finally died. After a few months without a robovac the floors under the bed were getting filthy, so I bought the Eufy 30C. It was only about $10 more than the 15C and Amazon showed a newer model for the 30C, so I picked it. I paid well under $200 and planned to return it if it was bad.
First run had a problem: one of the front brushes popped off while climbing a short rug. I snapped it back on and it continued, but about an hour later both front brushes had come off. It still collected a full bin of dust, cat hair, and debris. After reading the Q&A I realized the brushes need to be snapped on fully. I reinstalled them correctly and after maybe seven runs I haven’t lost one since. I did have something wrapped around a brush and had a hard time removing it—I finally got a flatware knife under it to pop the brush off. Lesson: make sure the brushes fully click into place.
Overall the 30C functions very well and has exceeded my expectations. Compared with my old Neato I like three things best:1) It’s much thinner. The Neato required raising furniture on “stilts” to avoid getting stuck; the 30C has no trouble with standard-height furniture.2) It’s very quiet. The Neato could be heard from any room; the Eufy is so quiet you can have a normal conversation with it a few feet away.3) It’s a great value.
Negatives: navigation is a bit chaotic. The Neato cleaned in straight lines and produced maps, which is fancier but also more expensive and more prone to needing repairs (I had to send my Neato in twice). I’m fine with the Eufy’s more random pattern.
I purchased a 3-year extended warranty in addition to the 12-month manufacturer warranty, so I’ll have roughly four years of coverage. Replacement brushes and filters seem inexpensive. Some people complain about battery life; for a very large home that might matter, but my 1,400 sq ft house gets done on one charge. If battery was an issue I’d consider buying two units and assigning each to a zone.
I gave it 5 stars because it performs its function well at a good price. My home is mostly hard floors with a couple of rugs, and we have two cats with lots of cat hair. I haven’t had to clean the main brush since about the third run. Some reviews mention long hair fouling the brushes, so your mileage may vary. We have owned this robot vacuum from February 2025-Sept 2025.
I think it is an excellent budget robot vacuum. My kods enjoyed bossing it around with the remote, I managed to set a scheduled vacuuming sometime in the middle of the night, and overall it does a pretty decent job. It gets up a LOT of stuff. I have 4 kids, we homeschool, and we believe in spending lots of time outside (which translates to lots of dirt getting tracked in). Let’s be honest: no robot vacuum is going to solve my issues. *However*, every single time I run this guy (we’ve named him Felix), he gets up all sorts of stuff. I’m talking perler beads, rubber bands, pony beads, lego pieces, and SO much dust and dirt. He does get caught up on stuff. I put our cat’s food and water on a 1/2″ tall wooden tray in hopes that Felox would quit trying to get a snack and drink, but he was too rugged and would “jump the curb” to get him a piece. Strings, ribbons, pipe cleaners, and socks goon him up. He seems to find the weird places where the furniture is just *slightly* closer to the floor than anywhere else and wedges himself in there and gets stuck, crying out for help. I put things in front of the TV stand now to try and prevent sticking.

I can’t believe I didn’t buy this sooner! I have a cat and a dog that shed constantly, and I used to sweep three times a day but it never truly removed the hair and dust… THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM. The vacuum is very easy to use and to connect to my phone and home Wi‑Fi. It picks up hair, dust, and small debris perfectly (it won’t suck up larger pieces). If I forget to turn it on before leaving, I can start it from my phone without any problem — I usually let it run about an hour and that’s more than enough. It’s fairly quiet (very tolerable) and easy to clean — the dustbin stores the dirt and is simple to empty. The drop sensors work well (though I haven’t put them totally to the test). Update, May 8, 2024: I sent an email to the manufacturer explaining the battery situation and they sent me a new battery under warranty.
Very poor manual because of very small illustrations which are not the same as on the robot, plus does not explain how to delete a setting. A fairly good robot though, cleans well but tends to remain in larger rooms, it starts in the living room of 1,500 sq.’ apartment, manages to find the bedroom, but once it exits the bedroom it does not go back to finish the bedroom and washroom. My fix for this is to put it in the bedroom and close the door and let it run until it finishes the bedroom, then take it to the living room. It does not clean near the charging station. Very quiet, bumps very gently. When it is working beside you, you can still hold a conversation.
It is very easy to clean the waste bin, roller, wheels and filter. I clean it and wipe off the machine each time I use it, which is twice a month. I find this vacuum very easy to use and clean. It usually runs for about 1.5 hours, then recharges.
For $200.00 Canadian it is an okay value. It does not have the headaches and problems associated with programming using cell phones. I understand why manufacturers went that route, but it isn’t good.
TIPS: do one room at a time. The reason is that the robot learns the room and wastes less time learning multiple rooms. Give it plenty of time to fully recharge between uses. CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT, CLEAN IT after each use – remember to do the wheels, they pop out so easily.

Yo lo he usado con el control remoto y funciona muy bien. Prácticamente el ruido que hace es mínimo, yo tengo un bebé y cuando duerme el ruido no lo despierta para nada. Solo no sube a las alfombras peludas pero el piso lo deja muy bien. Estoy muy contenta con esta aspiradora.

I previously bought a Deebot for use on our main level floor, where we spend most of our time at home. It works great and connects with our Google Home. But we run it in the middle of the weekdays because it’s pretty noisy. Still, we really like the benefits of a robotic vacuum. So, we thought we might try it on our lower level. I set it up downstairs, but found that, while it seemed to pick up dirt, the back end bounced quite a bit over the berber carpet, which isn’t an issue on the main floor which is hardwood with only one entry rug.
So, we went about looking for an alternative for downstairs. We really wanted something that can connect with our Google Home, so that limited our options within our budget. There were lots of great reviews of iRobot products for carpet, but I had a hard time with the price. There were a few other brands, as well, but they were obscure brands, and I didn’t want to be stuck with an expensive vacuum and no customer service.
Eufy was a brand I kept in mind as I shopped because we’d had a lot of experience with their parent brand, Anker. They’ve always sold us a great product at a reasonable price, and importantly, if a product failed for any reason, we’d experienced great customer service. I finally decided I’d pull the trigger on the RoboVac 30C because it had the features we wanted.
I ordered it from Amazon on Thanksgiving with a bunch of other stuff I wanted to get. I was a bit disappointed that there was no Black Friday pricing, but it was still very competitive over the deeply discounted Roomba models *(see below).
It arrived on Sunday, so very quick shipping via Amazon Prime. We set it up right away. The first, VERY OBVIOUS thing we noticed… It’s quiet* (see below). Way quieter than the Deebot. As we had hoped, it also picked up dirt from the carpet easily and without bouncing.
The magnetic strips also helped to avoid another pitfall of the Deebot… We have these chairs with unusual bases that are low enough on the edges for the vacuums to drive themselves up on, then there’s a hole about 3 inches from the edge that creates a cliff for the vacuum to get hung up on. Both vacuums will do that, but the Eufy 30C has those strips which it won’t cross. Put the strips around the base of the chairs, and no hangups.
The only issue right now is that, unfortunately, the Eufy app doesn’t play with Google Home very well. We are assuming that will get fixed. And if it doesn’t, the app works pretty well as a stand alone, which is the next best thing, so I won’t dock any stars for that.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this vacuum so far. It does clean very well and doesn’t have any problem doing approximately 400 square feet on a single charge around furniture and other odds and ends on the floor.
*Customer service : Many vendors will contact Amazon customers shortly after purchase of one of their products to make sure all is well. Eufy did this. I thought I’d give them a preliminary review because I wanted to let them know that things were going well so far. I mentioned that it worked great (didn’t know about the Google home issue, yet, but I was overall pleased). I mentioned as an aside that it was a tiny bit annoying that it arrived on Sunday and the Cyber Monday deal made a significant price difference. Still, I liked it enough that I wasn’t going to be too annoyed. I certainly wasn’t going to try to return it and buy it again to get the better price. A couple days later, they thanked me for my comments… And refunded me the difference in price. They definitely didn’t have to. But it was pretty awesome of them.
*Noise level: My hubby set up the schedule for the RoboVac 30C. He decided to go with the same schedule as the Deebot, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the middle of the day. But instead of setting it up for 12:01 pm, he set it for am. It was running in the middle of the night and we didn’t know it for 2+ weeks. I discovered it when I decided to make sure to have the app on my phone too and saw the scheduling error. To be fair, we sleep on the upper level of our modified split level house and the RoboVac is on the lower level, but I have ears like a bat, and had no idea. And yes, it’s cleaning – – I’ve been cleaning out the dust bin for it regularly. Definitely wouldn’t have been that way with the Deebot. So, yeah. It’s quiet.

I had a Roomba for a few years. He was named Bender and he wandered around like a drunk toddler, got stuck on chair bases constantly (dirty jokes apply), and if the smallest thing was wrong, he simply didn’t activate for the daily vacuuming routine. There was a lot of fussing with the app and hostage level negotiating to no avail. I gave up.
I decided he didn’t last long enough to justify the cost so started researching more budget friendly options. After reading a ton of reviews, I chose the Eufy. I got the base model and figured if I hated it, at least it wasn’t $700 down the drain. I love this thing. We named it M3gan and she gets things done. If, for whatever reason, she is not in a position to begin her daily run, she beeps at me so I can fix it. Then she does the run. She has picked up an absolute ton of dog hair and dirt. I have to stay on top of it, because there is a finite amount of space in her bucket and she does not come with a bag to empty into. That is okay. I can randomly pick her up when I walk by, dump her, put her back on the floor, tell her to go again, and she does. There is no app. Just a remote control and auto timer that you set with it. She’s super quiet when she’s not alerting me something is wrong. It’s fantastic. I can go back to vacuuming manually once a week or so.
I have two messy kids and two indoor/outdoor dogs that Never. Stop. Shedding. She is handling it like a champ. Yes, I need to maintain the roller (because there is an unholy amount of hair in my house). That is fine. It pops out super easy, I detangle it, pop it back in, and she’s good to go. She has saved me so much time and kept the floor so much cleaner than I’ve been able to.
I am so glad I decided to pick the Eufy. Sure, it doesn’t have a fancy app, but you know what that means? No more screwing around trying to troubleshoot an app. That alone will save me hours per month. Yes, she bumps into things, but she gets the job done. I’ll happly get a little agility training in dodging a vacuum that helps me clean the house.

Great seller, great vacuum. E (Eufy the Eliminator) arrived well packaged with everything I expected. Our three dogs give it a healthy respect and give it space.
I did a lot of research—Roomba, iLife and others—and Eufy was the only one that checked every must-have on my list:
I wanted a patterned clean, which it doesn’t do, but it cleans exceptionally well without it. My husband, who hates noisy vacuums, calls E his new favorite family member. It’s quiet for a vacuum—even on max it’s quieter than my canister—and yet the suction is impressive. I ran it one day after I’d vacuumed and was shocked at how much dust it picked up. I hadn’t needed to vacuum for five days—so exciting.
The app-enabled model (version C) was worth the extra cost. You can only set one scheduled time per day on the device, but the app makes it easy to change the schedule on the fly (e.g., 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM). It runs in BoostIQ for about 1 hour 33 minutes and takes roughly 6 hours to recharge. The app tells you when it’s charging, charged, running, or returning to the dock.
The dustbin is huge—no problem with three high-shedding dogs as long as it’s emptied daily. The roller brush cleaning tool works great; all three brushes are simple to install, remove, and clean. Two of the filters are washable; I tap the HEPA filter outside to knock out the worst of the dust. It will probably need replacing in a few months, but that’s not a big deal.
It’s only gotten stuck once—left the bathroom door open and it couldn’t climb the 3/4″ step out. I promised a photo of under my couch, so I attached one — after about 2 hours of running, with 3 dogs and 2 kids, the couch area is spotless. Love this little guy.

Excellent. Easy to use and worth the price. It picks up cat hair really well, which is why I bought it, and keeps the house clean. I use it with the remote control and it works great. The noise is minimal—I have a baby and it doesn’t wake them when sleeping. It doesn’t climb shaggy rugs, but it leaves hard floors spotless. I’m very happy with this vacuum.
