What’s in the Box

  • Not specified (manufacturer listing does not provide a full component list)

Design & Build

The vacuum’s design focuses on utility more than aesthetics: a compact robot body with a mop module and a separate tower-style base for the bagless self-emptying system. Materials are not explicitly listed by the manufacturer, but the visible components appear to be rigid plastics and rubber where the brushroll sits. The build emphasizes practical elements — low-profile chassis to fit under furniture, a rubber V-shaped brushroll to limit hair wrap, and a mop assembly that can physically lift when carpets are detected.

Weight and exact dimensions are not specified in the listing, so pay attention to clearances at home (under sofas, beds) before purchasing. Ergonomics are typical for this product class: the unit handles automated cleaning cycles, while the base acts as a collection and storage hub so you rarely have to touch the dust bin. The absence of detailed weight/size figures in the listing makes it difficult to judge portability or the travel profile for multi-level homes (Not listed).

Key Features

Powerful 8000Pa Suction

What it is: The motor delivers up to 8000Pa of suction force.

Why it matters: Higher suction improves pickup on both hard floors and low- to medium-pile carpets, helping the robot dislodge ground-in dust, cereal crumbs, and pet dander that weaker models can miss. For pet owners, stronger suction tends to capture fur before it gets wound into rollers or redistributed around a room.

Where it helps: Kitchens, entryways, living rooms with rugs, and homes with shedding pets all benefit from the higher suction. For quick spot cleans after meals or daily maintenance in high-traffic zones, the extra airflow makes a noticeable difference versus entry-level robots (source: listing, checked 2025).

Bagless Self-Emptying Station

What it is: An automated base that stores collected dirt and debris for longer without the need for the user to manually empty the robot bin frequently.

Why it matters: The base is designed to hold up to 45 days of dust and debris, which means far fewer trips to the trash and less exposure to allergens when disposing of collected dirt. Because this particular base is bagless, it removes the ongoing cost of replacement bags but transfers the emptying and filter maintenance tasks to occasional cleaning of the bin and internal compartments.

Where it helps: Households that want low-maintenance cleaning cycles — busy professionals, pet owners, or anyone who dislikes frequent contact with dust — will appreciate the extended interval between manual emptying (source: listing, checked 2025).

DuoDetect AI 3D Obstacle Avoidance

What it is: A navigation system that uses dual LiDAR sensors to map the room and detect obstacles in three dimensions.

Why it matters: Dual LiDAR enables more precise localization and path planning than single-sensor systems, improving cleaning efficiency and reducing the likelihood of collisions. The 3D detection helps the robot identify and navigate around low or irregularly shaped obstacles, and LiDAR works reliably in low-light conditions where camera-only systems can struggle.

Where it helps: Complex rooms with furniture legs, toys, shoes, and pet bowls will see fewer bounces and less time spent re-routing. Users who prefer the robot to follow a systematic path (instead of random wandering) will notice faster, more consistent coverage and fewer missed spots (source: listing, checked 2025).

Anti Hair-Tangling Brush (V-shaped Rubber Brushroll)

What it is: A V-shaped rubber brushroll designed to reduce hair wrapping around the roller.

Why it matters: Hair wrap is one of the most common maintenance annoyances in robot vacuums, especially in multi-pet homes or households with long hair. The V-shaped rubber design reduces the amount of hair that winds around the brush, which means less frequent manual cleaning and fewer clogs that can reduce suction or strain the motor.

Where it helps: Bedrooms, living rooms, and grooming areas where hair accumulates. The listing notes a 14% reduction in hair wrap compared with previous or standard brush designs, which translates to real-time savings in maintenance effort when hair is a recurring issue (source: listing, checked 2025).

Auto-Lifting Mop

What it is: A mop module that automatically raises by 10mm when the robot detects carpet.

Why it matters: Automating the mop lift prevents the robot from spreading water onto rugs and carpets during mixed-floor cleaning runs. The 10mm lift height is enough to disengage the mop from softer surfaces, maintaining effective dry/wet cleaning transitions without manual intervention.

Where it helps: Homes with a mix of hardwood/tile and area rugs benefit most. You can run a combined vacuum-and-mop schedule without worrying about accidental wetting of carpets or the need to set up virtual boundaries for every rug (source: listing, checked 2025).

Where to buy

Performance & Use

Practical setup tips

  • Placement: Put the base against a wall on a flat surface with at least 0.5–1m clearance to each side if possible. Exact clearance recommendations are not specified in the listing, so use common sense to allow unobstructed approach and departure.
  • First run: Let the robot map your floorplan without interference. Closed doors and temporary obstacles can cause fragmented maps.
  • Mopping routine: Attach the mop pad and run a short test in an area with no carpets nearby to confirm water flow and mop lift behavior; the unit lifts the mop by 10mm when it detects carpets (source: listing, checked 2025).

Maintenance and care

  • Brushroll: Even with a 14% reduction in hair wrap, occasional manual cleaning of the rubber brush is necessary to remove long strands and tangles that still accumulate (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • Sensors and LiDAR: Wipe LiDAR housings and cliff sensors with a soft cloth every few weeks to keep navigation accurate. The listing states the robot uses dual LiDAR sensors for navigation (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • Base unit: Although the base claims up to 45 days of dirt storage, it’s wise to inspect and clean the base bin and filters periodically to maintain suction performance and avoid odor buildup (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • Mop pads: Launder or replace mop pads according to use frequency. The listing confirms an auto-lifting mop feature (source: listing, checked 2025); water reservoir care details are not specified.

What to expect in everyday useExpect reliable pickup on hard floors and improved performance on low-pile rugs thanks to the 8000Pa suction, plus fewer interventions because of the long-duration dirt storage in the base. Navigation should be efficient and avoid common problem areas due to dual LiDAR. For homes with many obstacles or frequent floor clutter, the DuoDetect AI 3D system should reduce collisions and stuck episodes, though no robotic solution is completely immune to getting wedged under low-clearance furniture or tangled by loose cords.

Limitations to be aware ofThe listing does not provide battery runtime, recharge time, weight, or dimensions — all useful items when evaluating coverage per charge and fit for multi-level homes (Not listed). Noise levels, warranty details, and official accessory lists are also absent from the provided information, so plan to check the full manufacturer page or retailer listing before purchasing if those specifics matter to you.

Pros vs Cons

Pros Cons

Who Should Buy

  • Pet owners who want a lower-maintenance cleaning routine: The combination of higher suction, a brushroll designed to limit hair tangles, and a base that stores dirt for up to 45 days will reduce the frequency of hands-on maintenance (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • Busy households that prioritize “set-and-forget” cleaning: Dual LiDAR navigation and extended base storage make this a good pick for users who prefer fewer interruptions and reliable mapping.
  • Mixed-floor homes: The auto-lifting mop helps the robot switch between hard floors and carpets without manual intervention.

Who Shouldn’t Buy

  • Buyers who need explicit runtime or coverage guarantees: The listing does not include battery runtime, so if you need a robot to clean large homes on a single charge, seek a model with verified runtime specs (Not listed).
  • Homes with very high-pile carpets: The suction spec is strong, but effectiveness on deep-pile or shag rugs isn’t documented (Not specified).
  • Users who prefer bagged dust collection: The base is bagless; if you want sealed disposable bags for allergy control and less handling of dust, look for a model that explicitly uses bags.

The media could not be loaded.

It took some effort on my part for the mapping as it doesn’t see as well in the dim light as the shark ai laser one I have. I also did the mapping at night but I had all of the house lights on but anything that had shadows (including its own) would cause it to stop, and pivot away. Leading to it missing large areas and avoiding along the walls. So, my solution was to deleting the first map and having it run a new one however I followed it around the house like a crazy person with a flashlight ensuring it was able to see any dark or dim areas. After I did that and it finished its process I had it run again on its own with no support from me. It now was going to floor boards and not missing any locations with the exception of cleaning under my furniture, that it did not do even with the flash light I’m not sure why as it will fit under. The vacuuming ability is above par and its disciplined route it takes ensures it covers any floors it is able to reach. The suction power is great. I have all wood floors but a couple large rugs and it would suck up the corners of the rugs and just power over the top of it not getting stuck at all. If it crunched the rug up to much to where it wasn’t able to climb over the top it would reverse and rotate to try to find a different way to get back on track. It picked up all debris and dog hair with out tangling. I put it on “smart empty” so when it decides it’s full during a run it locates its home base and travels back and empties out the bin completely. After emptying it hurriedly drives back to the location it left off and continues on its disciplined track. The mop of it…well honestly the mop sucks, it just sort of wets the floor and glides over it. With my two large dogs and living in Wisconsin we get torrential down pours which in turn cause mud with subsequently ends up in my house. I intentionally didn’t wipe the mud up on the kitchen linoleum and ran it on its highest setting for the wetness of the mop with hot water in its tank and it didn’t do really anything. You can see on the video. The mopping definitely is visible though, it does leave a nice stretch of dampness behind as it vacuums in the front. It did not make any of my rugs damp or muddy from the pad. When it read that it was going up onto the carpet of the rug it lifted the mop pad up and away from the rug not allowing it to get touched by the pad. The vacuum itself feels very sturdy and well made. All in all I am happy with the purchase the only real complaint I would have would be the trouble with shadows while mapping and the mop is pretty bad. For a single male who lives by himself and works 78 hours a week it definitely saves some time and keeps my house floors clear and not having Little Rock’s or whatever they are stick to bare feet when walking through my house (that’s super annoying to me) the set up was super simple while using the eureka app. No connectivity issues at all and I want to say it was ready to rock from unboxing within maybe five minutes. It came really close to fully charged. All in all I’m satisfied and it does a great job.

**also the stuff you see by at the doorway down the stairs in the video are my kitchen table chairs because I wanted to clear any and all obstacles out of the way when it was mapping so it would know the entirety of the floor plan of the first floor. Don’t judge me lol it isn’t always like that!

  3. Enjoy

Im very impressed by the Eureka E20 Plus Robot. It is much quieter than I expected for a robot with powerful suction. It cleans my 1,588 sq. ft. floor in one try without needing to recharge. The main brush is also so much easier to clean compared to other vacuums Ive owned. Thanks to the anti hair-tangling design, I do not have to deal with hair getting wrapped around the brush, which is something that used to drive me crazy with other models. The bagless self-emptying station is another feature I love. It is see-through, so I can easily clean it without having to replace bags. The app is extremely easy to use. I really like the map feature, which lets me see exactly which areas have already been cleaned and which are still left. I’ve had no issues with it bumping into furniture. Overall, this robot vacuum and mop combo combines powerful cleaning, smart design, and user-friendly features. Highly recommended!

I’ll start by saying that over the past 10 years, I have had multiple robot vacuums (Samsung, Neato, etc.). Some were really good and others were pure junk. My brand of choice was Neato only because they had incredible suction, were “reasonably priced”, and did a great job cleaning. Their app/features were “ok”. They are no longer made so when my last one died I decided to try the Eureka E20 Plus.
At first I was disappointed. It just couldn’t suck up dirt. I mean…it was really bad. Upon inspection, day 1, I found the vacuum was clogged (short dog hair, some grass clippings carried in on my feet, and dirt – The typical stuff). I cleared the clog and set it loose again. After 2 more cleanings it clogged again. I think I figured out the issue. On the inlet to the dust bin is a little rubber “wing”, I suspect it’s function is to slow down and direct incoming particles as they enter the bin. It acts as more of a barrier and just the slightest debris actually gets caught on it and a “log jam” gets created. I removed it (pops right out) and now dirt doesn’t get stuck as it enters the bin.
My current evaluation of the Eureka
    1. Vacuuming – good; (if it’s not getting clogged); some debris does get missed if it’s in a corner but that’s not a surprise.
    2. Navigation – good; though the skirt on the couch is enough to prevent the vacuum from going under it; It does seem to concentrate on various sections of a room more than other locations (all locations should get the same attention).
    3. Mapping – good
    4. Obsticles – great; it even climbs over the threshold to my kitchen (where other vacuums would get stuck)
    5. Reliablity – Unsure ; my previous vacs would burn through a battery in a year’s time; I’ll have to update this review in a year to see if the vac is still preforming properly
    6. Setup – Easy; Sync the app and you’re in business – 5 / 10 minutes max

I’m giving this 4 out of 5 because of the issues with clogging.

Fingers crossed it remains a worthwhile investment.
    Cheers!

I’ve only been using this robot vacuum for two days, and I’m already so impressed! It not only vacuums but also mops the floors, saving me so much time and effort. The suction power is strong — it easily picks up dust, pet hair, and small debris. The mopping function works well and leaves the floor looking fresh and clean.

I also love the self-emptying base — I don’t have to worry about constantly emptying the dustbin. The robot maps the house intelligently, avoids obstacles, and returns to the base when the battery is low.

If you want a reliable and convenient cleaning solution, this robot vacuum and mop combo is totally worth it!

I’ve been through a few robot vacuums over the years, and they always ended up being more of a novelty than a real help. They’d get stuck, miss spots, or have such a small dustbin that I was emptying it every day. The Eureka E20 Plus has completely changed my mind.
The game-changer for me is the self-emptying station. I cannot overstate how liberating it is to not have to think about the vacuum for over a month. The claim of a 45-day capacity is absolutely real. The station is compact, quiet when it empties the robot, and it means I only have to deal with one large bag of dust instead of constant, messy emptying.
Performance is where this thing really shines. The 8000Pa suction is no joke. It picks up everything from fine dust to cereal crumbs and even pet food with ease. I have a mixed-floor home (hardwood and medium-pile rugs), and it transitions seamlessly. The anti hair-tangling brush is a miracle for anyone with pets or long hair. I used to have to cut hair out of my old vacuum’s roller every week. With the E20, I’ve checked after a month of use and there was barely anything wrapped around it.
The LiDAR navigation is incredibly smart. It maps my entire home quickly and methodically cleans in neat, efficient rows. It doesn’t bump into furniture or get lost. I can set no-go zones and specific room cleaning schedules right from the easy-to-use app. It’s so precise.
The self-emptying base is a revolutionary feature at this price point.
8000Pa suction rivals many upright vacuums.
LiDAR navigation is fast, accurate, and reliable.
The brushroll lives up to its anti-tangle promise.
This combo of features is typically found on much more expensive models.
This is, without a doubt, the best appliance purchase I’ve made this year. It has significantly cut down on my weekly chores and keeps my floors consistently clean. If you’re on the fence, just get it. The convenience of the self-emptying station alone is worth it, but when you combine it with the powerful suction and intelligent navigation, the Eureka E20 Plus is an unbeatable package. Highly, highly recommend!
