Description

This is a cordless stick vacuum designed for homes that need quick transitions between floors and furniture—think apartments, small houses, and anyone who wants the convenience of a lightweight cleaner without wrestling a cord. It converts to a hand vacuum for stairs and tight spots, includes automatic suction adjustment for different floor types, and adds a few practical touches like LED lights and a tangle-resistant brush bar.

Who it’s for: busy households with pets or mixed flooring who want a fast, grab-and-go cleaning tool that stands upright for compact storage. Quick verdict: a practical, easy-to-store cordless stick vacuum that balances runtime and cleaning smarts for everyday messes.

What’s in the Box

  • Not specified

(If you need a complete parts list—battery, charger, crevice tool, floorhead, etc.—check the retailer listing or manufacturer page for exact contents before purchase.)

Design & Build

This vacuum follows the familiar slim, stick form factor: a long tube leading from a comfortable grip to a floorhead, with a quick-release that converts the main unit into a handheld cleaner. Build materials are not explicitly listed, but similar models typically use molded plastics for the body and a combination of rubber and nylon for wheels and brushes.

Weight and size implications

  • The design emphasizes compactness: the vacuum stands upright on its own, which helps when storage space is limited and you want a unit that can be tucked into a closet or left in a corner without leaning.
  • A lightweight stick format makes it easy to carry up and down stairs, maneuver around furniture, and switch to handheld mode for sofas and car interiors.

Ergonomics

  • The handle and trigger placement aim for one-handed operation. The ability to convert quickly to a hand vacuum reduces the need to lift the whole unit for small tasks.
  • LED lights on the floorhead improve visibility in dim corners and under furniture, reducing the need for awkward body positioning while cleaning.

Key Features

AUTOSENSE automatic suction adjustment

Benefit: The vacuum automatically changes suction power based on floor type, so it reduces power on hard floors to preserve battery and boosts suction on carpeted areas.Where it helps: In mixed-floor homes where you move frequently between hardwood and rugs, AUTOSENSE keeps cleaning efficient without you having to stop and toggle modes.

Up to 44 minutes runtime

Benefit: Offers a relatively long runtime for a cordless stick, letting you tackle multiple rooms on a single charge.Where it helps: Useful for medium-sized homes or thorough short sessions; you can clean several rooms or a single-floor apartment without recharging (source: listing, checked 2025).

Up to 25% more pickup on carpet

Benefit: Improved carpet pickup helps remove embedded dirt and pet hair more effectively than baseline models.Where it helps: High-traffic rugs and low- to medium-pile carpets benefit most—good for pet owners and households with kids (source: listing, checked 2025).

Cyclonic filtration

Benefit: Spinning dirt away from the filter reduces clogging and helps the vacuum maintain suction over time.Where it helps: When vacuuming fine dust or mixed debris, cyclonic action keeps performance steadier between filter cleanings. Note: the exact filtration grade (e.g., HEPA) is not specified.

Anti-tangle brush bar

Benefit: The brush bar is designed to resist hair wrap and to make hair removal easier when it does tangle.Where it helps: In homes with long-haired pets or people, this reduces maintenance time and prevents frequent blockages on the brush roll.

LED floorhead lights

Benefit: Illuminates dark corners and under low furniture so you can spot hidden dust and crumbs.Where it helps: Under couches, beds, and in hallways—especially in rooms with poor lighting where debris is easy to miss.

Converts to a hand vacuum with crevice tool

Benefit: Quick conversion to a handheld unit expands the vacuum’s usefulness to stairs, upholstery, and tight gaps.Where it helps: Car interiors, staircases, couch seams, and reach-challenged spots behind radiators or under appliances.

Compact, upright storage

Benefit: The vacuum stands on its own without leaning, so it takes up less floor space and is ready to grab.Where it helps: Small closets, entryways, or apartments where storage space is at a premium.

Performance & Use

Practical setup

  • Charge fully before first use. The listing indicates up to 44 minutes of runtime—this figure is best achieved under lighter suction modes and with a new battery (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • Attach the appropriate tool for the job: the floorhead for general cleaning, the crevice tool when converted to hand mode for corners and crevices.

Daily use tips

  • Let AUTOSENSE do the mode switching for mixed surfaces, but switch manually to higher-power mode for heavily soiled carpets or ground-in pet hair.
  • Use LED lights to sweep under furniture methodically; they’ll help you find settled debris.

Maintenance

  • Empty the dust bin after each major cleaning session or when it reaches the max fill line. Frequent emptying prevents suction loss.
  • Clean or tap out pre-filters regularly—cyclonic systems reduce filter fouling but don’t remove the need for periodic maintenance.
  • Inspect the brush bar for hair wrap. The anti-tangle design lowers the frequency of deep cleaning, but removing accumulated strands periodically will keep the head spinning efficiently.
  • Keep charger contacts and battery terminals free of dust and debris to ensure reliable charging.

Noise and runtime considerations

  • Runtime figures can vary based on suction modes and the mix of surfaces. To maximize the stated runtime, use lower suction settings where appropriate and keep the filters and dust bin clean (source: listing, checked 2025).
  • No specific noise level or charging time is listed—expect typical cordless stick vacuum noise in use, with louder sound at higher power settings.

Real-life scenarios

  • Quick daily touch-ups: Great for spotting cereal spills, pet hair, and small messes without dragging out a full-size vacuum.
  • Whole-room cleaning: The provided runtime supports cleaning several rooms in one session on eco/auto modes. For deep-cleaning wall-to-wall carpets, you may need a higher-powered upright or to recharge between zones.
  • Stairs and upholstery: Conversion to a hand vacuum makes stair work manageable and faster than lugging a full upright unit.

Pros vs Cons

Pros Cons
Long-ish cordless runtime — up to 44 minutes on a single charge (source: listing, checked 2025) Exact weight and battery charging time not specified, so it’s hard to plan multiple deep sessions
AUTOSENSE auto-adjusts suction for mixed floors, improving efficiency No filtration grade (e.g., HEPA) listed, so allergy-sensitive buyers can’t confirm allergen capture
Anti-tangle brush bar reduces hair wrap and makes maintenance easier “What’s in the box” contents are not specified in the listing, so accessory count is unclear
LED floorhead lights reveal hidden dirt under furniture Specific noise levels and motor power not listed
Converts quickly to a hand vacuum for stairs and crevices Not all spec details (weight, dimensions, full filtration details) are provided
Stands upright for compact storage, which saves space Carpet pickup gains (up to 25%) are listed but not broken down by carpet type (source: listing, checked 2025)

Who Should Buy

  • Households with mixed floor types (hard floors + area rugs) that want automatic suction adjustments.
  • Pet owners who need a vacuum designed to handle hair with less tangling.
  • People living in apartments, condos, or small homes who value compact storage and a unit that stands upright.
  • Buyers who want a versatile tool that converts to a hand vacuum for stairs, upholstery, and cars.

Who Shouldn’t Buy

  • Allergy sufferers who require confirmed HEPA filtration—filtration grade is not specified in the listing.
  • Users who need the highest possible carpet-extraction power for deep-cleaning high-pile carpets; this stick-style design is optimized for everyday cleaning rather than professional deep cleans.
  • Shoppers who need full spec transparency (weight, charge time, exact included accessories)—the listing doesn’t list every spec explicitly.

I have multi level rugs throughout my house, and this powerful vac does a great job. One month ago, I bought (on Consumer Reports reviews) the Sunsore X7 A. It was really ineffective on all my rugs. A real disappoint; therefore, this much less expensive rechargeable vac was a thrill to use! It’s the best. The B&D vac pulled dirt/dog fur (haven’t a lot of that) out of everything. PLUS!… the filter is easy to clean (not so with the X7.) I’m very happy with this B&D.

YES!! If you are thinking about this, it is a yes!! LOVE!! Appreciate this little powerful cordless vacuum—to the moon and back!! I love the light—it shines on all of the dust and helps guide where the dirt is. The battery lasts long enough to vacuum 1700 sq. feet of hardwood floors, plus a few area rugs. It is easy to store, empty the canister, and clean the filter. I like how the battery can charge while the filter is drying (after rinsing the dust out). Excellent purchase!!!

I really can’t complain about this item given the low price tag. But figured I’d share the honest pros and cons I’ve come across in the month I’ve owned this.

Pros: Price for sure, lets be honest. My main reason was to eliminate the old broom and pan as my main space, entry, dining, kitchen, and bath are all luxury vinyl. It works REALLY well for bare floors. I do not have pets, but hadn’t swept/cleaned in about a month. The suction is good. It picks up a ton of stuff you don’t even see. I really like the swiveling head and low profile face. It gets under and around most all things. What I was most impressed with was how it picked up debris next to the baseboards well. In both the front and back entry I have the thin, low profile rugs. As it says, it does sense this and kicks the suction up to HIGH. Worked well on these as well. It also detaches easily to become a short vacuum with attachment. I have not tried using to vacuum my car yet. Probably won’t either, I have a shop vac and don’t really have an issue with it.

Cons: This is not built or meant as a cordless rug vacuum. So if thats what you want it for, I’d look elsewhere. Once its on carpet with any sort of length, it is hard to push/maneuver around. On top of that, when its in HIGH suction mode, it will drain the battery in record time. You might get 2 rooms done at best. Charge time is 4 hours! I actually verified this with Black and Decker that is the normal charge time. For a 30/40 min max (I’m being generous) run time, that just doesn’t seem right.

Conclusion: Works really well for bare floors. It accomplishes what I wanted it to as the common areas, mostly the kitchen, get the dirtiest and its an effortless cleanup with this. For $100, as long as it continues to perform as is, I think its a solid buy. Just don’t expect this to clean your whole house. Feel the $300+ ones are that expensive for a reason. I’ve never used one so can’t say. But I know what this one does well and what it won’t do well. Hope this helps.

October 2023 update! Still working great! I use it several times a week. Mainly just put on high now. I also use the short attachment more often than I thought and is a super east swap. This thing kicks butt on bare floors. One of my best purchases of 2022 for sure.

This is the best stick vacuum I have ever used. Worth every penny. Stands up on its own, powerful suction, good battery life. I have 8 small dogs, most of which have long hair and they track in a lot of dirt and also cockle burrs that stick to their fur and my shoes. This vacuum easily gets them out of my rugs. I vacuum a couple of times a week and this thing pulls in the dirt.

This is a great vacuum! So light and easy for me to use. It’s great on my wooden floors for dog hair. It’s so easy for my carpeted stairs and lays flat to go under things. The suction is super strong, it’s even good for my carpeted areas. I wish I’d of gotten one sooner. Buying more as gifts for granddaughters!

I live in a studio, so this small vacuum cleaner has the perfect size for me. This is my first cordless vacuum cleaner and I absolutely love it. I find myself much more willing to vacuum since it’s so easy without a cord. Whenever I see any dust or dirt, I would remove it right away. Charging takes some time but I just do it while cooking so it is not a problem for me. I charge it once every two weeks or so. Would recommend!

Functional enough to pick up more than you can see. Very powerful suction. Easy to empty container and clean filter. Holds a charge long enough to do living-room and two bedrooms plus hall way. I can use the accessory to clean my sectional or the litter my kitten scatters in the laundry room. Multiple ways to use. The cord is long enough to charge anywhere. The vacuum is lightweight and easy on my carpal tunnel.

I am in my late 70s and this is my first cordless vacuum. I love it because it is lightweight, very maneuverable, quiet (compared to every other vac I have had), does a great job on hard floors and an acceptable job on my carpet. But there are two really big and important drawbacks that probably every cordless vacuum has. I have a house (not an apartment) with wall-to-wall carpet in every room, including hallways, except for the kitchen/dinette area and two bathrooms. The carpet is not shag, but not flat either, with pile that catches dirt and dust, cat hairs and tracked litter.

I had to charge the battery before using it, and that took hours. So the first day was unpacking it, assembling it, trying it and finding it wasn’t charged, and charging it. On the second day, I started with my office area that is also the cat’s room (food and litter box) and the vacuum did a decent job even though I had to go back and forth over certain areas. Then I went out into the hallway, and the light blinked that the vacuum battery was low. What? I decided to keep going to see how long the battery would last. I finished the hallway and went into the bathroom and did the floor and bath rug… and the vacuum died. The over-night fully-charged battery had run out! I had planned to do the whole house at one time, like I’ve always done on vacuuming day, but no. I did two rooms and that was it. BIG disappointment. So, I plugged it in and it took the rest of the day to fully charge again.

The second red flag is the tiny dust collector. It only holds about a cup of debris. I brought in a paper bag and would vacuum, stop and dump the debris into the bag, vacuum, stop and dump the debris into the bag, over and over and over. It was easy because the dust container slips off and on easily, but what a HASSLE!! So, short battery life and tiny dust container did it for me.

I went right back to Amazon and found and ordered another vacuum cleaner WITH A CORD and a BIG dust container (like my old vac that had finally given up the ghost.) I decided to keep this one to use for quick pick-ups here and there without hauling out the heavy-duty one that’s coming. I found a spot by an outlet to keep it charged and handy, and I’ll keep using it for the reasons that I love it.

While this is not the vacuum for somebody with arthritis or low muscle tone (extremely difficult to remove the filter from the canister in order to empty), it is extraordinarily easy to use and has powerful suction. One of my kids sucked up two socks in it yesterday. I only vacuum up to 1200 square feet at a time, but I always put it away with plenty of charge left. It’s light and easy to maneuver. I actually prefer to vacuum in dim light with this because the bright light on the vacuum highlights debris on the floor so you don’t miss anything and there’s more contrast / clarity if the room is dimly lit. It only comes with one attachment, so not ideal for upholstery, and you cannot detach the main brush from the stick part of the vacuum, so if you choose to use the wand attachment, you’ll be attaching it to the canister part of the vacuum, leaving you without much length. This is usually fine, unless you need to vacuum something like stairs and have back issues or can’t spend a lot of time bent over. On the whole, I like this vacuum a lot. I have one for my office and one for my home.
