Woww I am shocked at how well this works. I am very happy with my purchase. I have had an old trusty brand for about 10 years and I love it, but everything started breaking on it, it was still cleaning just the handles were breaking, anyways I was sad to even have to buy a new one and now I’m happy I did. Old trusty was great but this is light weight and has the same power. I wish I would have bought this when I was pregnant. My only complaint is the cord isn’t as long.
Another huge bonus is my old one had a soft pad to clean at top of cylinder, this one I can completely clean with air compressor.

Okay I’ll be honest, at first I was sceptical because I’d not heard of the brand before and the price point was so good. When it was delivered I definitely got a look from my partner about this random vacuum I bought off Amazon lol. HOWEVER, it took all of 3 minutes to put together and read the instruction papers, we then immediately gave it a go and let me tell you, this did not disappoint. We had a shark vacuum prior to this that crapped out on us after 2 years, I think it really struggled with the fur and dirt produced by our 3 fur babies. So something a little more heavy duty with good suction was a must.
My partner and I were SHOCKED at how much dirt and fur this thing yanked out of the shag rug in our living room. I kind of wish I had taken a picture, it was that much. All doubt was gone after the first use, this is the real deal.
I like that the height of the head can be adjusted for the type of surface you’re using it on, I think the people saying it’s difficult to push just may be forgetting to adjust it. The suction is obviously fantastic, and it’s very easy to take the container out to dispose of the dirt and clean it out. The one negative about it is the hose length- it needs to be longer! I was leaning down using the crevice tool and the vacuum fell on my head haha. So, needs much more length to actually be practical for use.
I’ve used it several times since and can honestly say I’m still totally amazed by how much crap this pulls out of the rugs, I feel like we’ve been living in squalor this whole time and didn’t even know it, deceived by our old vacuum. Get this!

I have been a dedicated Shark user for at least 10 years and always swore there’s be no other!! I’ve lost track on how many I’ve purchased but they are really good vacuums and a bit pricey. It was time for another and I decided I didn’t want to spend 200.00 this time. This vacuum popped up on my Amazon feed. I read the reviews and fell in love with the low price, so against all of my beliefs I skipped on the Shark and bought this. Easy to assemble and I started vacuuming – mind you this is less than 8 hours after using my shark. Holy smokes! Suction power on carpets is far better than any Shark I’ve used. See before and after photos, much more impressive in person. The dust canister says it all! This is AFTER I just vacuumed! It’s lightweight, a bit louder than I expected but I don’t have sleeping babies, the cord is a great length and overall would have given this 5 starts BUT when you attempt to vacuum underneath nightstands, kitchen chairs, etc. it raises off the ground in the front. No more lazy vacuuming for me, but that’s okay. Also, I have 80% hardwood floors with two long haired German Shepherd’s – GREAT job on the dog hair! Very, very impressed with this vacuum and really impressed with saving some money and getting a better product! Great job Eureka!

I looked at lots of vacuums and read lots of reviews. This Eureka PowerSpeed NEU 180 sounded good, with lots of great reviews. I need something that will take care of pet hair (dog and a cat) and be simple to use and empty, and not require replaceable filters.
A lot of reviewers showed how much hair the vac got up after using their old vacuum first. They were not kidding! I ran the Eureka over a short nap carpet about 15 x 15 feet, and the dust bin was nearly full of hair and dirt. it had only been a couple of days since I vacuumed with my old Rainbow. I am amazed! This thing is light and easy to maneuver, gets under the toe space and under the edges of furniture easily. It cleans right to the edge. Unlike any vacuum I ever had before, this is NOT noisy. I always wore hearing protectors with the old ones, and don’t even need them with this Not loud or obnoxious at all.
The ease of dumping the dust bin is a big thing for me. I hesitated to use the Rainbow because you have to fill it with water, then find a place to dump the water/dirt/hair sludge. Then rinse and clean the cannister. My old Filter Queen used paper filters that need to be changed, and it was a nasty dusty mess to empty. Also very heavy. Also expensive: I paid something like $450 for that think way back in 1972!
The new Eureka Was $78. Both the Filter Queen and Rainbow were getting problems, but still worked. I also have a Dirt Devil I bought years ago and used about twice and hated. (Want them? Come and get ’em for FREE.)
I can’t find anything negative about the Eureka. I am looking forward to vacuuming the rest of the house and picking up a bushel of pet hair.

Some folks talked about the hole in the end of the handle, and that the hose was too short. They must not have gotten the instructions with theirs. The handle doubles as a wand that extends the hose so you can reach furniture, drapes, etc. The Owner’s Use Manual that came with mine is great. Well Illustrated, thorough, and easy to understand. Another plus.
Several people said the height adjustment did not work, and it either was too low and burned the carpet, or too high and wouldn’t clean. I checked min before using it, and the height adjustment wheels were indeed stuck and would not lower when you turned the knob. I called Customer Service right away. Got a person quickly who was very helpful. While she was taking my information, I kept fiddling with the height rollers, and it started working! I am not mechanically illiterate, but do not know why it unstuck or what was holding it to begin with. So, it works fine. I did find that Customer Service was very responsive.
I will update this review if anything changes or problems arise.
Maybe it is kind of sad that at this stage in life I get excited about a new vacuum (smile) but it is a real treat to find a great product at a great price that really works!

Easy to assemble vacuum and easy to carry upstairs. I have carpeted stairs that are really annoying to try and vacuum, this vacuum is light weight, but does its job to suck up all the cat litter and dirt the stairs catch. Have had this for almost a month and the only issue I had is, DO NOT run over the power cable with it, even by accident. The rubber on the cord will easily get caught and will tear. If it’s repairable use electrical tape.

Es un excelente producto. Lo adquirí en oferta por $1800 y la verdad, por lo que hace vale toda la pena. Si buscas aspirar pisos duros con objetos o cabellos, estas es la aspiradora. Mejoraría si tuviera un cable de corriente retractil, porque si es complicado manejar con el cable cuando los extiendes totalmente. Fuera de eso, cumple con lo que dice.

Okay I’ll be honest, at first I was sceptical because I’d not heard of the brand before and the price point was so good. When it was delivered I definitely got a look from my partner about this random vacuum I bought off Amazon lol. HOWEVER, it took all of 3 minutes to put together and read the instruction papers, we then immediately gave it a go and let me tell you, this did not disappoint. We had a shark vacuum prior to this that crapped out on us after 2 years, I think it really struggled with the fur and dirt produced by our 3 fur babies. So something a little more heavy duty with good suction was a must.
My partner and I were SHOCKED at how much dirt and fur this thing yanked out of the shag rug in our living room. I kind of wish I had taken a picture, it was that much. All doubt was gone after the first use, this is the real deal.
I like that the height of the head can be adjusted for the type of surface you’re using it on, I think the people saying it’s difficult to push just may be forgetting to adjust it. The suction is obviously fantastic, and it’s very easy to take the container out to dispose of the dirt and clean it out. The one negative about it is the hose length- it needs to be longer! I was leaning down using the crevice tool and the vacuum fell on my head haha. So, needs much more length to actually be practical for use.
I’ve used it several times since and can honestly say I’m still totally amazed by how much crap this pulls out of the rugs, I feel like we’ve been living in squalor this whole time and didn’t even know it, deceived by our old vacuum. Get this!

Woww I am shocked at how well this works. I am very happy with my purchase. I have had an old trusty brand for about 10 years and I love it, but everything started breaking on it, it was still cleaning just the handles were breaking, anyways I was sad to even have to buy a new one and now I’m happy I did. Old trusty was great but this is light weight and has the same power. I wish I would have bought this when I was pregnant. My only complaint is the cord isn’t as long.
Another huge bonus is my old one had a soft pad to clean at top of cylinder, this one I can completely clean with air compressor.

Bought this to replace a more expensive Hoover that wasn’t very old but the bottom plate broke and wasn’t replaceable. I wasn’t going to spend much this time and got this Eureka. It works okay but you can tell it’s an economy model. It doesn’t have a light which comes in handy but isn’t a deal killer, but the cord is too short and we had to add a six foot extension cord. Also the cord hooks are fixed unlike the Hoover where the top hook swiveled to allow the cord to drop, so on this you have to unwind the whole thing which is annoying. That would have been a cheap feature to include. The overall feel is rather cheap and plasticky which I guess to to be expected for the price. Although it’s not very heavy it has more resistance when pushing, whereas the Hoover felt like it was being pulled. It does the job so I’m not complaining and hopefully it will hold up. Good for a low cost option.

Easy to assemble vacuum and easy to carry upstairs. I have carpeted stairs that are really annoying to try and vacuum, this vacuum is light weight, but does its job to suck up all the cat litter and dirt the stairs catch. Have had this for almost a month and the only issue I had is, DO NOT run over the power cable with it, even by accident. The rubber on the cord will easily get caught and will tear. If it’s repairable use electrical tape.
